Even if you buy it through Steam, they make you install their own malware app that is always running in the background. Better yet, buying through Steam also causes a plethora of issues, or maybe that's normal for EA and their atrocious app. I haven't been able to run this game in months, maybe a year. Every now and then I'll want to play this game, and I'll spend hours going through the arduous process of troubleshooting the same issue ("error: game already running") that I encounter every time. Good thing I only own a few DLC and don't spend the $60 per DLC they charge.
