After completing the game at least five times on each difficulty my opinion is that it's a good game and I would recommend playing it, I had a lot of fun and plan to keep re-playing the game until I get bored.

The game doesn't take too long, though it depends on how you chose to play, personally so far I've focused solely on the story aspects and not bothered with any/many of the side puzzles or weapon upgrades with my first three completions being with the weapons you come across in the story.
