This game is kind of awesome, and it plays really well, even on satellite Internet.

But there are too many sexy little girls running around, and my doctor said I should avoid that.

Rainbow Six Siege: A Great Game If You Have Great Internet

The multiplayer is where this game shines, certainly. But if you're like one of the millions of people with high latency Internet across the globe, you should avoid this title as it will literally remove you from the game with an insulting message that reads. "Your connection is too slow, you have been removed from the match."

I'm endorsed by Exede Satellite Internet and ViaSat to test video games over their Internet service.

I've tested dozens of games, from MMOs such as Final Fantasy XIV, to FPS like Overwatch and Planetside 2, and this is the only one that doesn't work for multiplayer gameplay. It doesn't even give you a chance.

The single player aspects of this game are amazing. The gunplay is fun and realistic, and the body physics are spot on. The graphics and sounds are top notch for a triple A title. And the characters are unique and enjoyable to play and unlock.

However, the single player "situations" are merely a tutorial with almost no content of their own, and last a scant five to six hours.

This game was tested over Exede's Internet service at 24 mbs down / 3.82 mbs up and 620 ms ping.

Each time the matches failed to stay connected, or would not connect at all.

This game was also tested across rural DSL of 8 mbs down / 1.21 mbs up and 250 ms ping.

With the same results, being only marginally better overall.

I recommend this game only to those people who are using extremely low latency cable Internet.

Otherwise avoid it.

I beta tested the original Secret World, played from launch, bought all the extra chapters.

It was one of the greatest stories in an MMORPG I'd ever played.

But this Secret World Lengeds thing? Nah. It's a pay to win cut down version of it's former self with a thousand times the grind. The only reason I'd ever come back is to play the story that Funcom left unfinished in the original game. They literally took out everything and hid it behind a paywall or a loot crate. It was like they saw other MMO's cash shops, and said to themselves "I gotta get me some of that."

The only way I could ever recommend this game again is if someone wanted to experience one of the best stories in an RPG to date, and had the patience to deal with Funcom's crap.

I'm glad I preordered with the Season Pass.

I knew from past experiences that Bethesda always does big DLC.

Even Morrowind had two massive expansions. (Back when they were called Expansions.)

Far Harbor does not disappoint. This DLC is so big it could have been it's own game if not for the Fallout 4 setting; I could easily see it being some Indie or small dev paranormal game where you go and save this island. But the fact that it's a DLC for an even bigger game, in and of itself, is astonishing. Bethesda really impressed me on this one.

I easily see 40 - 60 hours of gameplay here. Maybe 70 - 80 if you stretch it and do a lot of settlement building. (Which I do.)

The new monsters are amazing, and they feel worthy of the island. I absolutely love the .

There's tons of places to explore and discover, an amazing story to dive right into, and a few new weapons and armors, to boot.

My only gripe right now is the Lever Gun, which feels more like a really good mod someone made rather than an implanted weapon. The animation is jaggy and the reload cycles all five bullets, even if you've only fired one. Otherwise it's a great weapon with tons of potential, both vanilla and modding, now that .45-70 is in the game again.

All in all, I'd say if you own Fallout 4, buy the damned season pass and get all the DLCs. They're worth it.

Awesome game.

Most of my playtime was spent updating at 5 KB/s.

I beat this game in 16.7 Hours at 81%.

Probably could have pushed it up to 20 hours if I bothered for 100%.

But it's good. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

In fact, I couldn't stop playing. I played right through.

Good story, good graphics, fun game play, it's a great game.

Can't recommend it enough. I hope the Rise of the Tomb Raider has more game time, though.

Ninety three hours in seven days.

And I haven't even started the main quest line.

What am I doing with my life?

Actual Review

There are so many things you can do in Fallout 4. I've only seen a very small part of it, and yet my obsession has lead me to complete one of the faction quest lines.

I will not say which one, or spoil the events of said quest line.

Aside from the obvious story line quests, there's so much to do in this game that it would be very difficult for one character to do it all.

Yes, there is no level cap, and the game is open ended. But I feel like the amount of effort required to do, and to see it all in one character would require 300 - 400 hours of gameplay.

My character is at level 54, and I've only a few completed perk trees (out of the dozens).

The settlement building feature, while completely optional, is absolutely phenomenal. Within just a few hours I had already earned enough scrap to build a nice little two story building in which to live and house my things.

The combat is fast and feels incredibly well rounded. The gun play is top-notch and you can only just notice the stat systems in play.

Charging someone full speed with an attack from a combat knife is especially rewarding. Even if you aren't trained to use melee weapons it throws them off balance and staggers them for a few seconds. And they react accordingly.

However, at high levels, some characters can feel unrealistically balanced by taking six shots of .50 BMG right to the face, in order to kill them. And I'm talking about humans, not super mutants. I feel like this unbalanced combat might break immersion for some people if they play on higher difficulty levels.

The voice acting is top notch, as expected with a AAA title. And after 140 hours of gameplay I've yet to hear the same voice actor repeated in major dialog. The conversation system is incredibly deep and immersive, yet the dialog option wheel can be slightly misleading at times.

The world is massive, and if you avoid fast travel you can definitely tell that it's at least on par with Skyrim. However, it's so densely populated with people and things to do and to see that it feels much more expansive.

The world is also historically accurate, filled with tons of actual Boston sights, and even a few Easter Eggs.

The Companion System is acceptable, and it gives you a feeling of getting to know your friends and the people you'll collect in the Wastelands. But I feel like in a game this big, they did an amazing job with it. Curie is best and anyone who says otherwise can suck it.

But all in all, it really is an amazing game. And if you have the motivation, and the time, I highly recommend getting it.

This is an early access OPINION of Heroes and Generals.

Disregard my time, I played the game for a few weeks before getting it on steam so I could post this review. I somehow thought if I got it on steam it would play better...

I wanted to like this game. I really did. But browser games are so bad.

In, and of itself, it's a pretty solid shooter. You aim, you fire, you hit somebody, they die. It's basic.

The User Interface is a little daunting at first. And it takes some time to get used to.

Until you grind for a few days to level six, or buy a premade soldier (with real money), you can only play in instanced death matches, not the actual war. And it's the same repetitive combat over and over again of capture the point.

At this point, I feel like the game is basically finished. They just continue to remain in early access so they can make huge changes without warning and avoid negative feed back.

The clipping issues are terrible, you can often drive through trees and even buildings or fall through the ground.

The animations are juggy, they stutter a bit and sometimes don't completely follow through. (Like when reloading or switching weapons.)

The latency can be an issue. And that's not even from having good or bad internet. The input latency from your keyboard and mouse is incredibly noticeable. (To me, at least.) And it feels unresponsive.

If they had moved to a standalone client instead of trying to be a browser game it would have been a great success.

The cash shops aren't that bad, and they aren't required to enjoy the game until you get to high levels.

All in all, if you're really itching for a World War II Themed shooter, there are other options.....

I recommend this game only because it's loaded with people and it's super easy to get in and play. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.

Why couldn't Arkham Knight have been this good?

Grand Max Auto: The Arkham Wastelander

The Good~

+ The rich and engaging story of Mad Max~

+ 18 hours in, at the time of this writing, and I've only just barely upgraded the first of five strongholds and explored about a fifth of the map. (This is a plus because it means at least 100+ hours of game play.)

+The driving feels solid, and the collisions are very satisfying.

+ The combat is very similar to the Batman Arkham series, with powerful combos and counters, taking on 5 - 10 people at once.

+ The game map is massive. I couldn't tell you how many miles it is, but at full speed in a car with nitro it takes about six minutes to go from Jeets (East) to Pinky's (West.) And it's a relatively short distance on the map.

+ DOZENS of upgrades for Max himself, and the Magnum Opus (your car.)

+ Your actions feel like they influence the world, and have weight on it's people and economy.

+ The lack of guns has no impact on the game. Even with a single home-made shot gun the game is always fast past and action packed.

+ Awesome graphics

+ Awesome voice acting

+ You get a bomb sniffing dog!

The Bad~

- Exploration is limited to scalable area's marked with yellow paint. You can't climb just any ledge or rock. Due to there being so many of these areas, however, the game does not feel linear at all.

- The Sniper Rifle Mod for the car is more of a tool than an actual weapon. Yes, it kills people, but you can only use it from the Magnum Opus. You'll end up just using it for reconnoiter and safely taking out key defenses.

- With any massive open world game there is a bit of repetitiveness. Collecting scrap can become tedious in the beginning, but eventually people will help you when you build up the strongholds.

- Chumbucket can get a little annoying. But that's not really a bad thing on the game's part. Just my preference for his character.

- I've found a few bugs. But not many.

  • Sometimes the map won't open and you have to exit the game to reset it.
  • Stomping out rats and lizards for food can sometimes launch you into the air, which will result in you dying upon hitting the ground.
  • The pause menu can get stuck on a bio entry, even if you've read it. But it's easy to just click out to where you need to go.
  • The game doesn't like it when the car rolls........ .... ..... ..

All in all, the game is awesome. Pick it up if you can. You won't be disappointed.

Eh.. Well..

Ah.. .. Eh..

It's NOT that bad.

The story and the general mechanics are fine.

It's just not for me.

Feels like a browser game, though.
