Bethesda has been making the same game, on the same engine, since 2002.

If Starfield is any indication of where their future lies, I have absolutely no faith in The Elder Scrolls 6, or Fallout 5.

Starfield would have won Game of the Year in 2012.

Paid mods, empty game, all randomly generated empty filler. They launch the game in such a sorry state, and then take five years to make it playable, and rely on paid mods from the community to finish it. Their business practices are founded on greed and laziness. They don't give a crap about the gamers anymore.

Bethesda just needs to move down to Florida with the rest of the old folks and retire. Or get rid of Todd Howard. He's old, his ideas are old, his games are old, and his engine is old.

This game is infested with aim bots and hackers, and is literally unplayable.

I am disgusted at how long Valve has let this go on, while still taking our money.

This should be a FREE IN GAME OPTION.

Destiny 2 is a fun game. Even playing solo you can still find a lot to do. Playing with friends is the best way to play.

But, the DLC, Expansions, Battle Passes, Season Passes, PVP Trials and Passes, locked Dungeons, are so convoluted it's repugnant.

You need to spend like $500 to unlock everything.

No game is worth that to enjoy it.

It's a trash console game.

I played in the PC closed and open betas and it was horrid. The UI is trash, the controls are trash, the combat is awkward, the graphics were just OKAY, but everything looked blurry as hell.

Like your monitor was covered in Vaseline. And there was no fix for disabling the extremely heavy temporal antialiasing. The view distance is literally like 40 feet. Players and monsters literally pop out of existence just a few yards in front of you.

The zones are extremely tiny and the monsters are crowded together, with everyone trying to farm 10 - 20 of the same one for repetitive kill quests.

The story isn't even good. I don't know how they managed to make a WORSE game than the original Bless Online (which was not too terrible, just empty and had literally nothing to do.)

These people do not know how to make an MMO, and they don't deserve your time or money.

I still haven't even started the main story quest.

I was bored, thought I'd give it a try while waiting for PSO2.

I can tell by only playing after one hour that it's not for me. (And probably not for you, either.)

It's basically a glorified Chinese Mobile MMO they tried to throw in for some quick cash grabbing.

Pros
+ Small download size, only 2.3 GBs download and 14 GB installed. Good for low end PCs
+ Not very demanding, good for low end PCs
+ Some of the outfits look okay, I guess.
+ The Pet system has a lot of cute pets.
+/- Rare item drops from mobs you farm so you can find some good gear early on (Can make quest rewards obsolete.)


Cons
- AUTOPATH, AUTOPATH, AUTOPATH.
- Capped at 60 fps
- The controls are very awkward, they feel responsive, but they're very strange layout. Z Opens the Store instead of sheathing your weapon (which is not a feature in this game.)
- All the skills look the same.
- The UI is not that good. It feels "old" and "generic." Can't be rearranged.
- Limited system options - Can't disable profanity filter or change customize the chat boxes or UI elements.
- The Cash shop is EXTREMELY pay for convenience. And cosmetics and items are way over priced. You could spend a couple of hundred dollars and have a massive advantage over other players.
- The graphics are dated, the world and the textures look terrible.
- The animations are generic, nothing pops about them.
- The MAGE, EQUIPS A STAFF, BUT CASTS WITH HIS HANDS, AND DOESN'T EVEN USE THE STAFF, IT JUST SITS ON HIS BACK.
- The zones are extremely small and linear, and quest hubbing feels tedious and emotionless. Nothing stands out about the world, I never wanted to stop and look at something or explore beyond a hill I couldn't see over.

I could keep going but I think you get the picture.

It's an extremely generic MMO that I only played for two hours, and I could tell immediately that it was not for me. They should have launched it on phones and kept it in China. It would have done better there.

Using a GTX 1660 ti at 1280x720 (i7/16GBs of RAM)

RTX on Full = 30 - 35 fps.
RTX Off = 999 fps.

I will never buy another Gearbox or 2k Game as long as Epic Games continues to practice their immature and selfish exclusivity practices. Tencent is spying on the data of Steam Gamers illegally, and stealing information all for an extra cut of the profit, and doesn't care about gamers in any way whatsoever.

I will amend this review when Borderlands 3 comes out on steam.
