初始难度R版比原版高了不少，不过有DLC的衬托一周目依然可以轻松推图，无敌P也较原版更容易养成。

如其它评测所说玩起来就像老生化+恶灵附身的感觉，因为对物资的控制+复活的怪物+有限的背包已经是近年来最能给玩家压迫感的恐怖游戏，而剧情则像看完EVA一样。结局目前已知有4个，3个正常1个隐藏，在最后调试月轮后进入的房间移动视角，在角落能看到一个有3把锁的密码箱，猜测是需要3周目完成3个不同结局后第4周目才能解锁。
