Boring as hell.

As a Vermintide 2 veteran Darktide deviates a little from the formula where Vermintide 2 is primarily a melee focused game mixed in with gun play. Darktide is instead gunplay mixed in with melee and while initially this turned me away from the game the game as I played more and more of Darktide it turned out to be a fantastic formula with fun fast paced game play, beautiful graphics and very nice voice acting.

The only problems I have seen thus far that I am worried about are performance, crashing, and content.

Performance - This is an area that has made my and many others experience a little bumpy to say the least I average only about 60-70 fps on all medium settings with dlss on and framerate drops are frequent. Although Fatshark has made major progress in increasing performance throughout the pre-order beta

Crashing - Expect to crash fairly frequently. Even with no action taking place you are still susceptible to crashes and unless you have a decently fast ssd it will be a while before you can get back into the game. But even if you aren't crashing your teammates most of the time will be. I can't even count the amount of times me and my friends are fighting a horde and then one of them crashes and gets replaced with a useless bot. Crashing is the biggest issue as of right now.

Content- Although Vermintide was not a treasure trove of content each weapon and mission felt unique. But here in Darktide different missions take place in the LITERAL same map just with slight deviations but not only that each weapon is just copy and pasted with a different name and move set but yet they all feel and look exactly the same.

But even with these glaring issues the game is still amazing and has great potential! If you can afford to get it I'd highly recommend it.

God I hope there is DLC for this game to explore the other Scryb's. I started This game is a wonderful surprise and a recommend from me.

Hands down the best battle royal game out there right now! So many options as to where to go next with the content hope they don't mess it up.

The single player is the best part of the experience its a well crafted story with likable characters and fun gameplay but the multiplayer seems like a shameless cash grab that put to much of an emphasis on spending real money if you want to be able to progress
