This remake SUCKS.
I've loved and played Until Dawn on both PS4 and PS5 and until this day declared it as the best interactive horror game. This remake is a joke.
They removed all of the good music (e.g. the iconic "Oh Death" song in the intro) and replaced it with teeny 2020s pop music, making me feel like watching some tearjerker instead of playing a horror game.
The LIGHTING is the worst.
They added tons of unnecessary additional lighting effects and made the game brighter and more orange-coloured.
Where is the grimey, foggy and most importantly BLUE setting? Lost all of its original charm.
The graphical update is pretty good, the characters look sharp and I enjoy their original voices, at least one good thing they stuck to. Matt got a whole visual change though, almost feels like white-washing. His skin is more white, his eyes are brighter, his hair was changed to Tiktok's no 1 popular boy haircut and they regretfully removed his awkward expressions, making him feel dull.
Additionally to that, there are technical annoyances.
It's laggy, the sounds freeze (especially in cinematic scenes), dialogues partly skip themselves, the sound effects are off.
I wish they only would've given us the PC port with graphical enhancements, nothing else, as the original Until Dawn itself was a masterpiece already.
And all of this for 70€?? Bye, bye.

Schlechte Grafik, schlechtes Crafting, keine Story und langweilig.
Hatte damals die Early Access Phase verfolgt, aber das Endprodukt hier ist ja nicht zumutbar.

Kurzweilig aber sehr süß gestaltet. Einzigartiger Art Style und spaßiges Rätsellösen. Unbedingt mehr davon, ich brauch einen zweiten Teil!

Was für ein Spiel! Für mich die Krone der Syberia Spiele.
Eine so ineinander verzweigte Geschichte, wunderschön und märchenhaft bis hin zu düster, geheimnisvoll, und so, so melancholisch, dass es fast schon wehtut.
Herzzerreißende Wandlungen in den Geschichten von Kate Walker und Dana Roze. Verknüpfungen von Schauplätzen und Begegnungen, die zunächst unwichtig erschienen, am Ende aber entscheidend sind.
Das Gameplay war ein Schmaus!
So viele Rätsel und Gedankenspiele, nicht großartig schwer aber sehr immersiv und süß gestaltet.
Das Reisen in die Vergangenheit und wieder zurück, das Wandern durch die schönen Schauplätze und Landschaften, die atmosphärische Musik, die Dialoge und (kleinen) Entscheidungen, die man trifft... und alles in der Welt von Hans Voralbergs gebauten Automaten.
Für mich ganz klar das beste Spiel der Reihe und das beste Adventure-Spiel, das ich seit langer Zeit spielen durfte.

Der zweite Teil von Syberia führt uns durch edelweiße Schneelandschaften, zu Begegnungen mit urkomischen Figuren und lädt uns dazu ein, kreativ zu werden.

Wunderschöne, spannende Geschichte mit malerischen Schauplätzen in einer ganz eigenen Welt.
