As of late April/early May, cheaters have finally begin to be penalized. Why did it take so long? Who ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knows. However, the cheating problem was not the only issue. Counter-Strike 2 in it's current state is as barebones as you can get. I'd even argue that it has less content than the release build of Global Offensive. Some maps still haven't been ported over. Modes such as danger zone, retakes, team deathmatch, and flying scoutsman are nowhere to be seen. And achievements have been replaced with a participation award placeholder.

I thought the whole point of switching to Source 2 was to decrease development time? It's been almost half a year (3+ years if you count since the last operation) without an ORIGINAL major update.
