Now I play ALOT of games. A crap ton. Including Rare games... When rare was bought out by Microsoft I thought that was it. They were doomed to an eternity of kinect games and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequels to beloved titles.


Until Sea of thieves came out. Sea of thieves is the most fun i've had playing a game. This game is so open and free and there is actually no limit to what you can do. As long as you take time to research the game and how everything works the game is a blast.

A few things though. If you are a complete loner then whatever you do don't bother soloing this game. Sure its possible but its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chore. There are so many things you need to do and when you can communicate with a crew that number of things to do shortens but on a solo sloop especially being attacked by a full galleon its not fun.

Another thing is the hit detection on bullets and occasionally swords are questionable at best at times. But it really isn't frequent and it really does not destroy the fun of the game. Anyone who tells you otherwise is A) completely overreacting like those dumbasses on the twitter comments or B) Actually don't like the game and that's fair enough but to say it happens all the time is a lie.

Finally there is one last thing I need to mention before you buy the game. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR. Many people don't realise the name of the game itself. Sea of THIEVES. Yes you will get sunk after a 2 hour voyage occasionally. Yes you will get bullied by sweats occasionally. But you need to either A) fight back or B) go to another server or go on another game and come back later. Don't complain at the developers because you didn't understand that it is Sea of THIEVES and not Sea of grinding. If you want to grind you can either ask another crew for an alliance since yes that's a thing you can do or just hope to god you don't get sunk and if you are being attacked FIGHT BACK. It's really that simple guys.
