Lords of the fallen is a great game if you like harder arpgs where your attacks are a commitment, and timing is important. Lords of the fallen is trying to make an entry into the same genre as Dark Souls, with a lot of similarities,
but also some cool differences.
I have more than 600 hours in Dark souls 1 and 2. Lords of the Fallen has fun bosses, weapons, armor, and the labyrinth DLC adds a fun puzzle. As a dark souls 1 and 2 onebro, I actually think doing a level 10 LOTF run would be harder, if you are worried it will be too easy of a game, Please support this game when it is on sale, and allow for the rest of the world to enter the HCARPG market without a unwarranted fear of failure. EDIT: I did a lvl 10 run, and it was challenging, but not as much as I thought, but still very fun.

Pros
+ Great graphics
+ Different builds play and feel different, add replayability
+ You feel like a badass, but a mortal badass
+ Combat is always fair, you should only die to an enemy once if you can learn.
+ Bosses have interesting mechanics (not all but most)

Cons
- lots of people complain of crashes (not me)
- World is large, and well made, but only consists of a few kinds of environments
- Some combat is forced in small corridors and the camera makes this hard to see what you are doing (only a couple spots)
- No multiplayer at all (Dark souls multiplayer is wierd, someone make a co-op game like this please)
- Story has a canned ending with a narrator telling very similar stories. (Still better than ME3 ending)
- Magic is basically a cannon with only a few good moves you can use to cheese the game

TLDR; Dark Soulslike. Good game, but not for everyone. Give it a chance if you like that kind of combat.
