This game has the hype for a reason! It's pretty much required that you play with friends, and you will want to play with someone who has an idea of the basic mechanics since the game doesn't hold your hand at all, but besides those two factors everything about this is perfect for co-op shenanigans. The game is very creative, but also has really well-refined mechanics. It's technically a horror game, but you'll probably be laughing more often than afraid.

Probably the best multiplayer shooter ever made. It mixes all of the best elements from many different shooter genres, while excluding the worst [like micro-transactions.]

Great game, and plays much better than I expected it would on the OG Vive. Even plays great in a small space. Obviously an Index and a large play space would be better but this game is incredibly well-optimized for all play methods.

Great little game. It very much feels like a standalone version of a Skyrim mod made by only a couple people, but that's because it is. I've never played the mod myself though, and I went into this completely blind [which I'd highly recommend!]

This game is all about solving mysteries, talking to interesting characters, and choosing your words wisely. I went in expecting not much more than that but there's also a bit of combat and enemy evasion which kept me on my toes.

I did run into a couple bugs, but one was easily fixed by resetting the timeloop and another required me to look up a guide and backtrack to a old dialogue option missed in the beginning, but in the end this game was a very enjoyable experience which never dragged and always had something new to explore. It took me a little less than 8 hours to finish but every moment kept my interest and the multiple endings were fun to discover.

Pros: Yes! It lives up to the wonderment of the base game. New mechanics, new mysteries, etc. It's like a new planet but with even more "production value." You can tell a lot of time went into this and it's not just a DLC cash grab. In a way it feels like a whole new game with the new sound, music, visuals, etc, but in the best possible way.

Cons: At one point it becomes Amnesia-style hunted gameplay complete with minimal light and jumpscares. They are nice enough to include a coward mode ["reduced frights" mode in the settings] for those of us who don't like jumpscares, but I really feel that should have been the default. Also, the dark scary bits are REALLY dark, annoyingly so, even after going to the settings and maxing out the gamma. Since this is more or less one location and you can't run off to solve other mysteries when stuck, there can be a lot of backtracking and trial and error which is frustrating, but I was able to stick to it without cheating with guides which made it all the more satisfying to complete.

If you enjoyed the base game, don't hesitate to pick this up, even if you need coward mode like I do.

There's not much to say; I think we got everything we wanted and more. Interested to see where the campaign mode goes from here, and the sandbox already has multiple fun maps to enjoy. Super cool game already and no doubt Early Access means there's even more to come.

This game is a time machine which allows you to move forward a few hours at a time. The factory must grow.

One of the most unique and incredible video game experiences ever created. The gameplay mechanics are amazing, the lore is engaging, and the story is cerebral and immersive in a way unlike anything else.

Be warned! The crux of the game is spoilers. It took me about 20 hours to complete the game [before it came to Steam] but with the knowledge I gained it is now possible for me to reach the end of the game within minutes. This knowledge doesn't exist in a save file, it exists in the player's head which in itself is quite amazing.

It's difficult to explain the specifics of this game's appeal because so much of the fun is discovering things on your own. Take my word for it, it's really something special.

If you enjoy interesting game mechanics and open world exploration take your time with this game and it will probably become one of your all-time favorites as well!

They made a great game, possibly one of the best ever.

...Then they patched it to be unplayable without an intrusive anti-cheat rootkit [even on single-player.]

...Then after unsurprising outrage they removed the rootkit. Although player trust is forever scarred the game is now playable again and is still awesome, so that's a thumbs up from me.

Forget "Rage;" consider this a sequel to Avalanche's Mad Max game with some extra flare and no relation to the movies.

Instead of button-mashing third-person combat, it's ID-style first person shooting. The combat is great fun, but the world is mostly empty in terms of character and lore. It's not empty in the sense there's nothing to do, but rather in how incredibly repetitive it becomes. If only the game had some proper side-quests and not just the MEASLY 8-ish story quests. It really feels unfinished in some areas and it's a darn shame. This could easily be a 10/10 game if it had side-quests the way a classic Bethesda game does.

It's a fun game that's worth playing if you enjoyed Mad Max and like the idea of it being an open-world FPS, but DON'T pay full price. On top of that, expecting people to pay extra for day-one DLC or pointless microtransactions for skins is laughably stupid, but the game can still be enjoyed if you try to ignore all of that.
