Enjoyable travel & crafter. Unlike many others, while you do some exploring and gathering resources; some of the simple joy of fishing and catching resources starts right at the beginning of the game.

Have it for both PC & Nintendo Switch. Love it. The creator is a blessing. Nostalgic for those of us who enjoyed the early SNES farming games, and takes it to the next level. I've put so many hours into this game. (Some offline so steam is off by 100 hours at least)

The timing in the combat is a bit wonky, but its more about survival than combat. You're better off avoiding it unless you are playing a character who is meant for it.

I still pick it up and play it here and there (and on Switch).

I'm done. I'm sick of the glitches and nonsense. Now they're actively programming the game to make it harder for solo players (which is what I primarily did) so I can't play the game the way I want to, after purchasing it.

Failed a level 4 bug mission at 20 minutes in, killed 529 bugs! That was halfway through a 40 minute game. WTF!?

Increased patrols and spawns, and I even had the "local scrambler" booster that is supposed to mess with that. What a joke.

Glitches i have run into:
1) Ground "still on fire" with no visuals to show it. (After Orbital Laser, flame thrower, fire tornado) yet you can walk around in the flames found at Points of Interest around the map. -_-

2) If I hit "G" (quick grenade) and get knocked down by an enemy hitting me or stuck in the blast, it would swap my current equipped weapon to grenades (#4 if you hit it) and suddenly I'm throwing an impact grenade instead of shooting the incoming bugs, so I die on impact when I never swapped off my primary.

3) Rag doll from anything, and you're screwed. Enemies can still chase you and kill you. The number of instances that this has happened:
A: Charger running me over, STOPPING, and standing on me to just kill me instead of continuing its
charge.
B: Trying to climb over terrain just to rag doll.
C: Diving onto terrain and trying to alt dive off to save from dying on impact, just to rag doll on some slight
terrain elevation or slope.
D: Impact from own weapon, grenade, stratagem.
E: Getting rag dolled, and then continuing to roll or fly from impacts until dead. (Longest was over 20
seconds of tumbling before finally dying stuck under the terrain)

3) Hunters. What an over tuned enemy. Up to 4 attacks that slow you (acid) stagger you (interrupts reloading, stimming, throwing a grenade, diving) I have been able to solo Lv 6 bot missions and evacuate (I've done some lv 7 solo bots but didn't evacuate but complete the mission) yet I've been killed in the first 10 minutes and lost missions of lv 3 or 4 bug missions thanks to these bastards. If anything, take away the acid. Any bug hit already staggers you and has a chance to crit you. (A scavenger, the smallest, can crit and take over half your life if you are in medium or light armor) They're more annoying to me than Stalkers (Although the first "impact" hit of stalkers needs to be looked at. I"ve been knocked into and stuck in the terrain after such attacks, either in the mountains or under the ground where I've had to grenade myself and respawn due to that glitch)

5) Weapon inconsistency and uselessness. This has been an ongoing problem. They get tags of medium armor, yet you constantly get the reflect icon when trying to shoot such targets. Explosive shots still hurting us from over 10/15/and now I saw a friend kill himself trying to use an Erupter to open a container at a Point of Interest. We marked and he was 22 meters away and was killed by his own weapon. How hilarious, right developers? The Punisher was my go to for when we'd get in close quarters. After this last patch, if they're too close, I shoot through the closest enemy and kill the one behind them. Am I clipping through the enemy within melee distance? Its a shotgun, they should take some kind of damage and stagger, but I've been butchered at point blank while I kill the bugs behind the warrior/hunter/scavenger that is right next to me.

6) Are my buttons even working? Is it some unscripted nerfing when you start leveling up? I'm lv 39 as I type this out. I used to be able to tap R once, maybe twice if interrupted, and my weapon would reload. As I often use the punisher, its round by round. The number of times I hit R for NOTHING to happen, yet see my character doing the animation for nothing to happen? Sometimes I lose a magazine or a few shells (pending on the weapon) . I used to be able to hit R, dive from a grenade or bile spew, and your character would still be reloading while on the ground. not anymore. You do anything, canceled. Might even lose the clip. Same for stims. I've debated recording these and sending them in, but I'm fed up and done with this game for now.


For any who got this far and just gonna scream "Get Good" at me: whatever. I was able to solo up to lv 7 missions. I play with one bad arm (my left) so I can only do a few missions before I have to get off and Ice my rotator cuff. I was able to play the missions and have fun. With the push for more and not getting the quality right, I don't wan to play. I barely do Early Access because of this sort of crap. I want a WORKING game.

Early Access Review
While I'm enjoying the game in early access, there are a few "bugs" that are really discouraging.

1) No matter how far away I stand when trying to light standing torches and some camp fires; there is a good chance you still get set on fire from the animation of lighting it.

2) I've been nearly soft locked in some caves where enemies run up to you before you get out of the water. I can't pull a weapon or use my inventory to heal, so you can get wailed on while coming out of the water.

3) This is the biggest one that is causing me to take a break after playing daily since I got it. After climbing up the 2 long ropes in a certain cave I literally just got the golden armor and was fully healed and armored before climbing up I didn't even get a chance to take a step forward before I fell through the floor after the "pull up" animation was finished. I fell all the way to the bottom and died instantly. Even though I was full health and fully armored. What the hell!?

Early Access Review
The music is great. The building is fun and a different take than the usual game. Some fights you'll need friends or a lot of prep work. The health system is a great change of pace as well.

The theme is there and quite enjoyable.

Takes a bit to wrap your head around it. Some things the tutorial doesn't explain well enough on, but the music and ideas make for a good Space 4X. Give it a go but check a tutorial or 2 if you're a min maxer
