If you enjoy the Witcher series you'll enjoy the lore of this game.
Queen Meve is a great main character.
The game is based off of the card game Gwent from The Witcher 3. However if you didn't enjoy Gwent from The Witcher 3, you also have the option to skip all of the card battles and just focus the story and the lore.
Overall it's a fantastic game and well worth the price, especially on a sale. A must have for any Witcher fans.

If you play on the easiest difficulty, you can chose to forfeit, then skip the Gwent match, yes. It counts as a win.
