The War Within absolutely killed the steam out of FF14, but it happens whenever a lesser mmo releases their expansion within the same quarterly window as The World of Warcraft.

I enjoyed spending 2-3 hours in a match I cannot pause, no matter the IRL emergency, all to have an 85% likelihood of losing the game anyway. Rare to win unless a veteran player carries, but more often than not your random teammates will ditch before the match is half over because of the time commitment required. One of those "play only with friends" or join a Discord games

Still deserves the Positive rating, but there's a reason it was bargain binned at Gamestop playstation/xbox a month after release

If 1000 new gamers buy this perfect game, (it really is good) the dev might buy me an upgraded gaming computer.
