Though the game might not be recommended due to still going on issues, unwanted and unnecessary additions and wrong moves done by Gaijin, War Thunder is one of it's kind. It combines all forces, land/sea/air into a single game with Dagor Game Engine.


Tank decorations and branches/bushes added for costumization to ground forces. Bushes/Branches makes you tank less visible or almost invisible if well placed, giving both advantage and disadvantage.
Advantage-->Being be able to ambush enemies. Stay stealthy.
Disadvantage-->It costs Golden Eagles (In-Game Premium Currency), so prepare to say goodbye to bucks if you want to get them. Also only one side can be hidden completely.

Pros:
-Great Graphics.
-Big variety of Aircraft,Tanks from Spanish Civil War to Cold War.
-Still updating AI mechanics such as AI Naval Vessel turret horizontal & vertical targeting.
-Only skill and knowledge matters in Realistic (merely) and Simulator Battles.
-Soviet tank players are provided with Stalinium armour.
-You can learn a bit russian thanks to Russians on every server as if they are making a landing to servers.
-You can learn many things about armament, flight characteristics of aircrafts, components of tanks and military operations and use knowledge to your advantage.
-You can make friends around the world and have fun with them.

Cons:
-Still going on lack of WWII's historical accuracy in the game despite corrections being made this year. Will be fixed at some point.
-A matchmaking & battle rating system that screwed up for as long as we can remember.
-Still compressed BR system making the game suffering after Tier 3.
-Most of the vehicles that are being added or are planned to be added are generally unnecessary.
-AI Tanks & Naval Vessels do not have inner structure (i.e: When you try to bomb naval vessels, they can simply go through them even with HE bombs and deal no damage)
-Field AAA is dangerous so much that you can't fly with ease when AAA is firing at you, even at 5.000 meters high because they can snipe you when you do not expect them to do.
-Dev Team is unlikely to listen to the community and decisions are generally unsatisfying.
-WHOLE MODERN ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
-Most of vehicles that are being added every update are mostly never wanted or never brought up ones. Such as T-44-122 premium that no one ever mentioned or Do 17's Z-2 variant.
-You won't ever notice that you keep paying money.
-Gaijin will always come up with many ideas to keep leeching money, don't get affected by those and save your wallet.
-Most of US & Soviet players don't know how to play in every mode, so does around %40 percentage of Japan & Germany players and half of Britain players.
