The first few hours are definitely slower compared to previous Bethesda titles, but once the game gets going... it HOOKS you and doesn't let go. Beautiful.

Warzone 2.0 - 6.0/10
Huge step back from original Warzone. Al Mazrah was okay but nothing great. Ursikstan was better, but still nothing great. DMZ felt like a snooze, while MWZ was an interesting evolution on Outbreak but really just feels pointless. Plus, never been a fan of the direction the story and vibe of zombies went after Origins.

Modern Warfare II - 6.5/10
Maps were honestly pretty great, and the gunplay was fantastic. The removal of slide cancelling has me feeling mixed. Campaign was a huge step down from MW19, but infinitely better than the embarrassment that would follow in MWIII. Multiplayer deserved more credit than it got though.

Modern Warfare III - 3.5/10
Genuine embarassment. The only positives here go to the multiplayer. Maps were cool but having all the maps be remakes of MW2 (2009) maps was not the play. We should be treated to NEW maps that can build their own legacy instead of relying on nostalgia of old games. Don't get me wrong, the old maps are cool, but ONLY old maps is a joke. The gunplay is a downgrade from MWII and MW19. And the campaign? Terrible. Story was uninspired, villain was laughable, protagonists felt like different characters compared to their MWII and MW19 counterparts. Level design was forgettable. Lack of Sarah Schachner soundtrack was very noticable, seriously, the most forgettable soundtrack in the entire Call of Duty franchise. Add in the insulting DMZ style 'missions' and you've got yourself the worst Call of Duty campaign of all time. At least Black Ops 4 decided to humbly bow out of a campaign that year.

8.5/10

Zombie Chronicles bundle on sale was a no brainer. Mod capabilities alone make it a must buy even though I already own the game on Playstation and Xbox. Multiplayer was and remains painfully mediocre, and don't even worry about touching the campaign unless you want to experience thilling moments such as "Train go boom". However, if you're buying this in 2023, you're buying it for zombies. Rating is based on zombies alone because it doesn't deserve to be dragged down to the 6-7/10 range because of the campaign and multiplayer. This isn't Black Ops 3, this is Black Ops Zombies.

Missing lots of content at launch, took a year and a half to get to the state it should have been at launch, but we finally have a complete game.

Campaign is a good play the first time around, but after that, the flaws start to show.

Graphics, and this may be an unpopular opinion, don't compare to Halo 4-5. The art style is closer to the OG trilogy, but it feels like it's at the expense of the graphic fidelity that 4 and 5 brought to the franchise.

Overall recommend, but don't expect a masterpiece. Pick up The Master Chief Collection if you're looking for that.

Coming from a person who primarily plays Xbox/PC games, this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. Don't get me wrong, I'm familiar with other PlayStation games, both modern and old. But The Last of Us is far and away superior to any other PlayStation first-party game they have ever put out. Bugs are getting better for the PC port, still get occasional crashes and performance issues, and yes, building shaders takes a long time when you boot up the game for the first time, but i'm able to look past that for two reasons:

1. More and more of the issues are being fixed as time goes on and i'm sure it'll be fully polished soon.

2. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece.

As much as I hate EA with a passion, I cannot recommend this game enough. Nothing else like it.

Short story, but incredible experience with a fantastic story and setting. Expectations were high after hearing good things, and it somehow managed to exceed them. This is my 2022 Game of the Year.
