So, I’ve owned The Sims 4 since it originally released in 2014. Due to my wife’s addiction I’ve bought literally every DLC available for this game so far. Even on sale it’s not cheap! However, I would argue it’s been worth it since my wife through the EA App has around 1800 hours. I probably make up 80 hours of that.

Also, I was surprised that you can play the Steam version with the DLC you’ve previously purchased through the EA App. Personally, I prefer Steam over the EA App mostly because it’s beyond terrible. Since I have Game Pass which includes EA Play the DLC is discounted through the EA App. This is very nice because I can continue saving on future content through the EA App and still have access to that content in the Steam version. Definitely appreciate this approach from EA which is surprising I know.

The Sims 4 is very enjoyable with plenty of replay value and the amount of content available is also very impressive especially if you are willing to pay for it. I still enjoy the older games more though, but The Sims 4 dwarfs those games in terms of content.

Overall, I can recommend the game, but I would like to see more done going forward. To start vehicles is something I would love to see make a return in the future!
