Mix Metroid with modern indie games, you'll get a Robot named Fight, this game is just pure fun, doing each run, you'll get new event, new weapons and upgrade. Every time you do a run, you discover more and more of the story surrounding it, although nothing revolutionary, at least you can discover more, and on top of that, frequent free updates that adds more of everything, who doesn't like that?Edit:I've seen some review of people that were feeling unsatisfied by the games length.So here's my 2 centsThe games first play through can last you 2 hour, if you're lucky and you get the easier boss and good items right from the get go, and this has a lot of probability to happen, the game is fair to give the player a good grasp on what's going on, take your first run as a tutorial (if you complete it on your first run that is).Every time you complete a run, the game gets progressively harder, but the game still gives you new items and upgrades to keep the game fresh and rewarding.As of yet, I have done a lot of run, found 2 ending and one secret ending, every single one gave me a new item or multiple, and each is interesting and actually helps a whole lot cause at that point, the starting area are challenging, and the end part, I feel so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ overpowered that all my progression really felt rewarding.If you love OG Metroid and feel like you want a new game for something fresh, go ahead, I swear the game is so much fun and has a LOT of potential, plus there's a mode to play with your friend in sc to beat the living hell out of them, cause you know the game by hearth and they don't.By the way, hope the Dev see this review cause I want him/her to tell me if there's more to come and if there's a new ending in the making to give some closure to the secret ending (if there's not one already).
