“Europe is becoming set in its ways, slowly embalming itself beneath the wrappings of its borders, its factories, its law-courts and its universities. The frozen Mind cracks between the mineral staves which close upon it. The fault lies with your mouldy systems, your logic of 2 + 2 = 4. The fault lies with you.. caught in the net of syllogisms. You manufacture engineers, magistrates, doctors, who know nothing of the true mysteries of the body or the cosmic laws of existence. False scholars blind outside this world, philosophers who pretend to reconstruct the mind.”
- Antonin Artaud

Lost my given identity, but am slowly putting back the pieces to find out who we actually are. It's hard and complex, but we'll get there eventually, here or not. Summary page here is always a WIP, much like myself.

Queer, neurodivergent, pagan, and very left-wing. Interests include, but are not limited to, fantasy, horror, design and history. Writer who primarily does fantasy worldbuilding, also professional lore hoarder for many franchises.

I like to game from time to time, though lately just enjoying the company of others when I can get it. Please feel free to reach out to me on discord (kiarch) if you wanna chat or hangout! Bear in mind however, I have a lot going on mentally right now, so if I don't get back to you right away or disappear it's not because of you, nor are we ignoring you.

Should we only hope for heaven when we're dead? To that end firm in the belief of the unity and equality of all people, cultures and faiths. Firm in the belief that things that are harmful and hateful should be dissolved, whether that be social constructs or time itself. I try to find common ground with others and accept them for who they are, but if we disagree on some fundamentals (trans rights being human rights, etc) our patience can be thin.

Does he not have the right to love the thing that is his very own?

Messages To Friends
(Currently Redoing This Section)
These are basically some personalized messages to some of my best friends I've met in my years online. If you don't find yourself on this list, please know that almost everyone I have met has impacted me and taught me something in some way and that I do appreciate and thank you!

NecroticDarling - (Coming Soon)

Snaxx - (Coming Soon)

Greaky - He has been my amazing friend for over 8 years, with some bumps along the way but that's to be expected. From owning servers in Garry’s Mod, to just playing some DBD, he has been there, throughout all hard times. And I hope to be his friend for many more years to come.

Moon, Sen, Nuvs, Danj - (Coming Soon)

PerpetualSilence - Alright so let's see, he's great at RP, can make awesome Arma III missions, a big proponent for the true German Republic, and is a fantastic DM. Yep he's good. But to be serious he's a great guy and a great friend. 9.5/10 - Needs to be turned to the left. Hail Basket!

Trigger - Honestly one of the best people out there. She's really kind, caring, and has helped me through some hard times in my life. I am forever thankful to you and hope you'll forever be there for me, as I will be there for you.

Mathew - When we first met I thought Mathew was just another person going on random Star Wars RP servers on Gmod to get staff and then go inactive, but how wrong I was. Ever since he not only been one of, if not the best staff member I have had the pleasure of working with, and a good friend.

In my opinion, Prey is one of the best games ever made. A true successor to the likes of System Shock, BioShock and Half Life. I won't say much, since with these games the less you know the better. It's worth it. Do NOT use the escape pod when you get the chance, trust me!

During the course of the game, you find yourself stuck on the Talos I space station, where a disaster of unknown type has occurred, which pits you against an unknown, unique and very much hostile alien force while you attempt to piece together what exactly happened. While there are features that are rather bare bones, like the gunplay (although I still find it satisfying), overall nearly everything else makes up for it in droves, such as....
- The station changes and evolves as the disaster unfolds. You can even explore the outside!
- The fantastic story, which not only includes a great main quest line and side-quests with multiple endings (including kill everyone), but also lots of worldbuilding with alternate history. This is all neatly tied together within its breathtaking Art Deco art style.
- Unique mechanics like the Gloo Gun, Neuromod, Reployer and Recycler Charges. Plus a decent crafting system and skill trees.
- A nice survival mode for those who want it, and a fantastic New Game+ mode, where you get to keep all your skills and abilities so that you can speed through the game if you missed anything or need to get ideas for a review.

My only real gripe with the game is that the last act feels rushed, with lots of backtracking and a slog of enemies, but unlike a seemingly large amount of players, I find the ending pretty great - although I wouldn't say there's much sequel potential, which is both disappointing but also satisfying in it's own way.

Sadly, this game seems to have been overlooked by the vast majority of people. From marketing dropping the ball, to the very much lacklustre DLC post-launch, combined with the fans of old Prey complaining that it has nothing to do with the original series (which it only took because the devs just thought the name sounded cool). It's a shame really, as this is perhaps one of the best games Arkane-Bethesda has released to date, besides Dishonoured, and the potential seems squandered (for example Flight Log: Scott Parker anyone?). I honestly wish they just opened up to modding so that players could take on the mantle of creating content for this great game.

TL;DR: Was forced to play this game by my twin and I basically found one of the best games ever made - although I had to buy this on my account to post this review (it cost me $12) would still recommend.
