If you like Laggy online gameplay, balls phasing through players' bodies, attackers staying dead still, defenders not intercepting passes, all while you are trying to switch to the player you want to, but the game will not let you, then I have found the FIFA game for you!

All seriousness this feels like the best FIFA game for a while, at least since Fifa 18, but I cannot recommend because of the abysmal online gameplay, every time a cutscene plays, my game lags, I cannot skip this cutscene for whatever reason, so you sit there for 5 mins waiting the cutscene to play out. My opponents, when on console don't get this issue, so they play on while I'm waiting to finish watching this stupid animation play. The defending feels awful, maybe that's a skill issue on my part, but when not controlling defenders they seem to leave other players unmarked and let them through. The ball seems to phase through players bodies, and goalkeepers fingers when it really shouldn't, this has happened to both me and my opponents. And the Switching is terrible, If I press LB or L2 it will switch to an attacker while I am defending near my box, while if I use the Right analog stick, It will switch to a fullback, or winger.

If you have played FIFA before and enjoy offline gamemodes like Career Mode, or if you want to play Kick Off with friends I can recommend this game, but until the issues with online play are fixed then go play EFootball or Pro Soccer Online instead

Overall I have really enjoyed 2021 so far (I have done a few chapters of braking point, some online career with a friend, and an online race)

the presentation is much better than last year's, while the audio and sound design is probably the best I have heard from any sports related game ever. AI is better than last year, providing more of a challenge than before, while the gameplay is still as fun and as engaging as ever

Although I think that this is a really good adaptation of the sport into a game I do have some complaints.

I have some problems with the handling and steering in this game compared to 2020, but that could just take some time to get used to.

It is a real shame that they removed the classic cars from the game, I really enjoyed racing against friends where we would all use the classic cars, I'm not entirely sure why they had to remove this feature, but maybe they'll add it back next year
A game like this should really have cross-platform
I don't think that braking point adds much to the overall experience of the game, I feel that the story is pretty average with characters that can be replaced with robots, but I suppose at least they are making an attempt at creating more ways to play the game I guess.

honestly it may seem like I'm unhappy the game at this point, but I'm really not, far from it. I would recommend this to any fan of any racing games, or if you are mildly interested in F1. The game is really challenging, and if it's anything like 2020, then it is very rewarding to master the mechanics. I could easily see myself putting hundreds of hours into this game.

Really fun with a couple of friends, don't buy if you want to play solo.

I'm feeling a Strong 8 to a Light 9 on this new Mick Gordon album, oh and the free game that comes included with this is also pretty good
