Yes, it's a Gacha game, no it's not a remake/remaster of the OG.

If you expect a Gacha game with IAP going in, you'll notice all the usual stuff. Limited-time events that want you to spend more to get everything, deals/bundles, etc etc. I've played a number of these and rarely spend any money on them, but know it's almost always going to be a grind if you choose to play that way.

If you like or don't mind these types of games, the graphics are nice, the battle system is decent, and the stories are there (though highly condensed), so it may be worth your time.
