This is a great way to improve your Terraria experience after a couple playthroughs. Sure the version on steam is limiting, however since when are you EVER planning on having THAT many mods in the first place?
And as soon as you say, "Well, I wanna play Calamity, Thorium, Spirit, Elements Awoken, AND Fargo's Souls mod all at the same time with every single QoL mod ever." J-just no. The amount of conflicts you get from doubling down on huge content mods is already difficult to deal with, and this version runs better on slower computers anyways.

Reviire, on all three computers I have played terraria on, the steam version works better than me going on and getting the 64 bit version. I run 64 bit OS, however my ram and cpu on all my computers is trash, I guess that is what happens when I am too broke to afford computers newer than 2010. Also the limit helps me out as I can actually see how much processing power different mods take up.

32 bit runs worse on 99.8% of all computers

Did this human being both misunderstand what a conflict is and also think that 32 bit problems are mod conflicts :reonion:

I've never had troubles playing with all of those and more, even before the last couple big Terraria updates.

Well, conflicts usually happen with using the advanced difficulties, especially when you activate several of them if they weren't intended to go together.

Also "conflicts", imo, include items from other mods that make bosses trivial. For the record, I have never once even tried to load more than 22 mods and then I decided to tone down some of the mods as I felt they weren't necessary. My usual modlists include 13-17 mods, depending on how many QoL mods I feel like giving myself.

Also, I have seen videos of people trying to play with huge modlists (I don't remember the exact amount but it has 50-200) and tmodloader just crashing while loading the mods or worlds several times before it actually gets into a game.

If you actually think it causes conflicts you've never played with them LMAO

I normally play with a cocktail of every large mod I can find that isn't calamity with a million other mods and conflicts are minimal to none
