Raft is absolutely amazing, especially the first time you play through the story. If you give it some time between your playthroughs, it’s really as fun as ever, even though you already know what happens.

I'd go as far as saying this is one of the best games in its price range, and definitely one of the top survival/co-op games for the value. It's a truly entertaining game that can be challenging at times, with co-op being the best way to enjoy it in my opinion.

As someone who has seen the game evolve from one chapter to three, and from three story islands to eight. I do wish there was more story content to explore. However, all in all, it's a very entertaining game to play with friends!

Democracy has landed!

This game really doesn't deserve "mostly postitive" reviews.
I've played for about 2 hours and it somehow feels worse than Bus Simulator 18.
The graphics are much better but the rest of the game looks pretty awful, the assets look very cheap and bad, the rain looks absolutely awful and the driving doesn't feel good at all.
The animations are also terrible, looking the other way as you're walking the opposite direction will make it look like you're moonwalking for other players and the sprint animation doesn't look realistic even in the slightest, it just looks like a sped up walking animation...

The "prologue" is insanely long, I haven't managed to complete it in 2 hours of playing this game so unlocking the Europe map would take ages.

The AI vehicles almost always stops for you even when you have a yield sign.

Even for a discounted price (At the moment of this review ~20€) (I got the game on a weekend it was free for a couple days.)

Got the game gifted to me by a friend since it was on sale.

We've had a lot of fun on this game so far! There are some bugs and glitched but to me those make the game more hilarious.
At times there are just enemies coming non-stop so it's complete chaos, there's a lot of weapons and perks to acquire, some make things like reloading a certain type of weapon faster, whereas some make it faster to swim (for example).

The only bad things we've noticed a lot is if you play co-op only the host gets the special weapons that you get for doing missions or killing the so called "Lieutenants" (A.K.A John, Jacob, Faith), this also goes for higher level perks unlocked by killing Lieutenants which really impacts the enjoyability of the gameplay.

The game is incredibly buggy in multiplayer, if you are not the host you will pay fines for crashing into nothing for example by just exiting the garage.

Bendy busses will also be very buggy for non-hosts.

There's a big lack of optimization as well, sometimes my game drops all the way down to 20 FPS even though I should be way above the requirements for this game
(RTX 3060-Ti, Intel Core i7-10700)

Driving with the Logitech G920 wheel feels like it works half of the time, the force feedback is very random if it works or not, sometimes you either drive with full force feedback or none at all.

AI also get stuck in intersections because they give way to every car within what feels like a huge radius, and sometimes even get stuck waiting when they have a green light.

If you're not the host a lot of things can really ruin your experience of the game.

Pretty short game, but was very fun to play through.

Really fun game if you ask me, put some realistic mods in and it will be even more fun!

I recommend this game to those of you who like survival and creative games

Often bad teams, "Military honor" system is useless since there's no punishments for people with the lowest military honor with a lot of complaints, and if you try to get your military honor up, even if you get a really good game nobody praises you for it. So I therefore wouldn't recommend it. Especially because of the bad teams I mentioned before.
