10/10 Fighting Game
One of the most fun and beginner friendly fighting games I've ever played without sacrificing any depth to player expression. I play a ton of fighting games and usually its hard to get friends into them, but this one is easy to pick up and play but still has a very high skill ceiling.

Also the character designs are fantastic and the art and animations are some of the best in the genre so that's a plus.

Has amazing rollback net code and crossplay as well.

OMG, sounds like a dream game! I've been wanting to get into fighting games but they're so intimidating. This sounds like a good one to start with. I gotta check it out.
