Overwatch, but fun

A course correction for the franchise

War never changes.

I gave the game a fair chance, but I feel like I was swindled. It's just a copy and paste of the first game, with less features in it. Playing it is sadly exhausting, and I hate saying this because the first is among one of my favorite games of all time.

I waited over ten years for a game with an empty overworld, a ridiculous DLC store, poor optimization,
a severe lack of challenge or enemy variety, and I much rather would not support these sorts of practices for these companies any further than I already have.

The developers should look to Larian Studios and "Baldur's Gate 3" as an example of what effort actually looks like, instead of copy and pasting a game engine from over ten years ago.

Do NOT dismiss this as a Pokemon clone, this game has it's own unique quirks and battle system, along with wonderful art design, fantastic music and, most importantly, FUN gameplay. Definitely pick it up, even at full price, it's worth every penny!

Years in the making and completely worth the wait. A modern classic that will go down as one of the best RPGs of all time.
