>Focus is on new cosmetics in the microtransaction shop
>Balance changes strongly encourage lame and boring playstyles
>No room to experiment or try new playstyles unless you want to get trashed on
>75%+ the perks (unlockable skills) are non-viable when used in practice
>80% of the game is locked behind DLC
>Gave up on decent ranking system entirely and just hides the ranks in lobbies now

The best redeeming quality of this game is custom matches with friends, where everything is unlocked (except for other characters/killers, which is almost all of them). I genuinely love the concept behind this game, but hundreds of dollars and the even more hundreds of hours you need to play to unlock the meat of the game is just disgusting. And the toxic playerbase stuff. That too.
