Mass Effect 1:
Pros - ME1 has to be my favorite in the trilogy RP and gameplay wise, I love the loot system that has you swapping and switching to different armors and weapons throughout the galaxy, the dialogue options to choose from feels vast compared to the other games, combat isnt a strong point of the series however the gun play felt satisfying and well its Mass Effect 1. Writing is perfect, world building is godlike, if you couldn't tell this was my first time playing the trilogy and wow. Was not let down.

Cons - I encountered quite a bit of bugs than the other 2 games in this game bundle.
Bugs include:
-Being stuck standing up in combat behind cover whenever I deploy a power/ability sometimes at random. This one hurts because on harder difficulties can be frustrating to deal with.
-Stuck moving in one position no matter what movement keys I press for a short amount of time.
-In certain areas rarely the Mako you would be driving would freeze, yet when you get out it would be teleported to where ever you were going before the freeze. This one unlike the other bugs where you can wait it out, requires a reload.

Mass Effect 2:
Pros - ME2 is my favorite story wise, the Illusive Man is definitely up there on my list with most iconic characters from gaming. There are just some characters that steal the scene even after 4 entire playthroughs. The paragon and renegade action sequences are also a very nice addition to keep you on your toes while in dialogue sections and help rank up more renegade and paragon points. Powers were more different than the last game and fun to use, and the side missions all felt unique from each other. Was a little sad at the start to see the armor and weapon customization from ME1 go, but was completely satisfied with the different systems they replaced it with making the whole experience feel a lot more casual and laid back. Had fun matching up set bonuses, and drippin out my Shephard, along with collecting a boat load of fish.

Cons - (NO SPOILERS)
-In the mission Dossier: Archangel there is an animation lock at a key suspenseful moment that not only ruined the immersion but got me bursting out laughing when the tone was suggesting I be at the edge of my seat. First playthrough I thought it was suppose to be like that or my game bugged, nope its not suppose to be like that at all.
-Not a bug, and probably just a me thing so take this with a little salt but when I was sprinting to my next destination in combat I would sometimes suction cup to cover or the wall. This would drive me crazy and sometimes get me killed. Was not fun on insanity difficulty and man, while we're on that subject quite a gap from the first game's difficulty wowzers !!

Mass Effect 3:
Pros - ME3 has the best combat out of the 3 hands down. The roll dodge system was so fun to use and the takedowns on enemies with your omni tool was satisfying. Hell, didn't know you could hijack a cerberus mech until my 2nd playthrough achievement hunting. Finally got rid of the stamina bar which is A+++ thank god, and the gun customization at first didnt like, however after sometime with it leaving Priority: Mars I fell in love with it. While in ME2 you were constricted for some classes to a baby pee shooter smg and pistol, here you can swap it out for a bigger gun with the weight system, while in turn equip your weapon of choice with attachments that spices up the gun play. Another thing I liked about ME3 is the DLC content that came with the bundle and I had fun with almost every single DLC from ME3. Usually there are some stinkers but other from ME3: leviathan my fun was sated. Oh and the score for this game, MMMM. Leaving Earth wouldn't of been impactful without it's theme. I breath the ost.

Cons - (UH OH)
-Dialogue options to me felt a little more constrained than the other titles. Before there was so many options to pursue in a mission or dialogue in general. Now you get only 2 options of what to say in most cases. I know and I get how most of your choices are set in stone from the past decisions you have made in ME1, and ME2 but still.
-Story felt weaker here than the other 2 titles at least for me. Not saying I wasnt having fun the whole way through, like I said DLCs were a blast, new sqaud mates while smaller than ME2 loved all of them. In fact Javik is my favorite squad mate in the entire series and he is new here.
-Ending. Some of you knew this was coming. No spoilers but green, blue, and red. That's all im going to say. ♥♥♥♥ those colors. I knew I was going to hate concluding this amazing trilogy and putting it down to enjoy something else. But I didn't think I would hate it because of HOW it ended. Such a let down. Mainly because it had so much potential.

I feel like I just offended some of you, so im here to clear up that dialogue and story was fine, just not as strong as I thought it would be or compared to the other titles. I set my expectations high for the final game and well as you read some of it was not satisfied.

EXTRAS:
Modding - Most fun time I have had with modding since RE8: Village. Also that fact that you could get the only dlc that was not included with the bundle (ME1: Pinnacle) for FREE with a simple mod is just mind blowing. Not the best dlc and didnt feel like Mass Effect however being able to download and play it just the same completes this game for me.
Achievements - Im mentioning this because to me this was another fun scavenger hunt activity for me to do in this game. All the achievements unlike some other games make the goals achievable and not too crazy. In fact the most difficult achievements to get would be the hardest difficulty achievements (Insanity 1, 2, and 3). So getting these achievements alongside modding just expanded how much longer ima be playin this game.

Overall its been awhile since I found a franchise that I love, last one was in 2013 with Borderlands 2. So experiencing passion for a franchise again is exciting. Trying to get friends to at the very least dip their toes into the game just as I did and give it try. Hell, trying to get my brother to play the game. Now, trying to get you to play the game.
