Picked this game up to get me by between games. 130 hours later I forgot what I was planning to play. This game is really fun and there is an endless amount of things to do. If you enjoy colony sims like Kenshi you will really enjoy this. It has a guise of simplicity but as you play you realize there are interwoven mechanics. I don't think you need the DLCs to really enjoy the game but they do provide some more depth and more interesting quests.
