Elden Ring is everything good about the series FromSoftware has cultivated smashed into one amazing world that is one of the most detailed dense open worlds I have ever seen. I have at the time of this review ~60 hours and I have only killed 2 of the "main" bosses. Every time I think I have seen the whole world on my map I discover more.

The amount of customization for you character's arsenal is really insane, spells are cooler than ever, and horseback combat is actually FUN unlike most other games. Any weapon can be made into an interesting and fun one thanks to the ash of war or "weapon arts" system which really is the cherry on top of the fun combat.

I should point out that many people have had performance issues, but I have been really lucky and only had a few crashes. The developers are aware of this and said they are working on it so it should be fixed soon. Currently my main issue is connection and online problems. I randomly get errors, and am kicked from other players worlds quite often but again its launch with 800k people playing.

For me it has been one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had so far and I am not even close to finishing I cant recommend this game enough. If you're new to the series just expect to die and learn from your mistakes and I promise you it will be worth it. This game is much more forgiving than past games from the series.
