I feel lied to because the reviews looked good I spent nearly an hour and the story was so bad and boring and the characters were amazingly uninteresting I'd rather watch paint dry.

This is the best game I have ever played in my entire life. I love the bangin' music, the adoring characters, the amazing story, and even the fantastic gameplay. Especially for a turnbased RPG; t's so unique. It's absolutely the best.
I have never felt such a connection and such a love for fictional characters in a video game in my entire life.
This is the best game I've ever played.
Please play it.

Played while high and had a lot of fun and kept jamming out to the music. <3 Cat kept making me so happy and it's so cute; I'm a big fan of metriodvanias so I enjoyed my small amount of time with this game. I feel like it's worth the money, personally. However, the next day I played, the game starting running at 4 fps for no reason and I'm now a little disappointed. My computer can definitely run this game; I don't know what happened lol. I'll refund for now and see if it'll fix itself later. Still recommend though for a fun experience, I think the FPS issue is just on my side.

Beautiful is the perfect word to describe this game. Every time I play it is so great. It's one of my favorite games of all time. I try to recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it. Hollow Knight is beautiful. Please, play it. 10/10 Literally not a single issue with it. Please buy it.

So god d*mn cute. I'll definitely get addicted to this one. Easy to learn. Quick to get into. Cheap price for hours of fun! It's still early access, so I'm expected more stuff to be added hopefully, but even for 6 bucks, I'm very happy with what we got here!

Reliving the nostalgia is so great. Loved them when I was 11, love them now when I'm 20! The new game has a lot of funny fails and jokes that made me laugh a ton! Highly recommend it to people who have and haven't played the games before! Also Charles is the best character. 10/10

EDIT: Game crashes a lot when in fullscreen. I hate having it windowed, so it's just something I have to deal with. Luckily, the game warns you beforehand that it'll crash, so at least it's not unexpected. Just wish this bug was fixed, but other than that, it's great!

Good music good gameplay good level design pls buy :)

People are blinded by nostalgia. This game is so buggy (and I don't mean just the port, this is THE GAME), the level design is horrible, and the characters aside from Knuckles (at least in the Hero Story because it's all I've played so far) play so TERRIBLY or have very boring level design. Sonic is so slippery that it's so easy to fall off a stage and Tails is just press X simulator and kill everything that it's just super boring and not fun. Knuckles is like the only character I can bare to play because he controls decently well and his levels aren't too bad from what I've played (I'm on Space Colony atm). I'll eventually beat the Hero side and Dark side but I need a break from what I've just witnessed on this Sonic level on Space Colony I just feel like my head is gonna explode. This game is REALLY BAD. Just stop giving it hype.

This game seriously helps me when I'm feeling stressed out, depressed, or dysphoric. I've gotten some good advice from some people and have gotten many "kind words" that have made me feel better and helped me get through things like panic attacks and mental breakdowns. I highly recommend, even if you don't suffer from any mental illness, sometimes sh*t happens and you need vent, and sometimes you don't want to worry other people. It seriously helps me a lot, and I think it'll help you too. 10/10
