THE REVIEW REFLECTS THE GAME AFTER PATCH 1.5
Yeah, you can finally play Cyberpunk 2077 in peace and without the game destroying itself with bugs in front of your eyes. So let's be quick about this, Samurai; we are waiting to actually play the game since 2020.

THE GOOD
The graphics are absolutely gorgeous, and there is no denying that. And believe me, the older this game gets, the more its visual style, art direction and technical quality will be appreciated. It's heavy as heck and running it requires a decent rig of you, but it is worth it. The gunplay is fun and creative (smart weapons are so much fun to use) and the build variety now is really nice. You can be a Netrunner, a Gunslinger, a Rifleman, whatever, you can actually build and play the way you enjoy the game the most.

The soundtrack is absurdly good. Actually one of the few things that were good since day one. Besides that, driving is nice and the cars and bikes are beautiful. The clothing can be hit or miss and a the missing of a transmog system is almost a sin at this point. Hopefully, as with everything else, they will bring this as a DLC in the future.

THE BAD
Well, speaking for myself now, but I really, really liked the story. It felt emotional, deep and really well written. Why is it in "the bad" you ask me? Well, it is hit or miss. Either you will really like it or you will find it very boring. The same goes for side missions. Some of them are memorable - like one that you need to have a chat with a cop that is on the brinking of committing suicide due to his severe depression after the loss of a friend - but most of them ends with , "yeah, you did that, nice! Sending this sms to acknowledge you, xoxo".

The exploration can also be hit or miss. Either you will love to drive around Night City and it's big, complex and detailed enviroments or you will find it the most lonely and empty city in the story of a video-game. The city itself is amazing, but definitely should feel more alive.

THE UGLY
God, the bugs. Yeah, 2 years, many patchs and they are still here - believe me, it was way ♥♥♥♥♥♥ worse. They can be annoying sometimes and on rare ocasions, break your game forcing you to quit and open it again. The patchs indeed accomplished a great deal, however, the issue is the legacy. This game is scarred to its core. Everytime you se a bug, a minor one - like ragdoll issues and things like that - your brain you automatically take you out of the immersion and remember you how bad this game was. And this will be always an issue. The game can receive as much content as possible, become a No Man's Sky like story, but everytime you se a minor bug, you will remember. Everyone will. And there's no patching that.

CONCLUSION
The game now is what it should have been. If CDPR had delayed the game and released it now, it would have been an amazing launch - not perfect, not with everything they promised, but a great launch. Now it's like Assassin's Creed Unity: An amazing game that will be eternally scarred by it's disastrous launch.

Buy it in a promo - when it receives a patch adding New Game +, then it will be worth the full price
