This is a strong entry in the city-building survival genre.

The resource scarcity aspect is fairly light in the normal difficulty, but the optimizing is fun and there is a good amount of depth in making sure each sector of your station has the resources it needs.
The text-based storytelling in the science missions is probably the best part of the game, and for that matter, the different events in the story are interesting and varied.

The voice acting is a little hit or miss, and the sound design could use some new tracks and stronger sound effects. The music is appropriately spacey, and the lack of sfx when doing the VOHLE (warp) jump is at once accurate and disconcerting.
I wish there was an option to play music constantly, as there were several moments when I was basically sitting in silence where some ambient music would've been appreciated.

I strongly recommend IXION to anyone who likes games such as Frostpunk or Surviving Mars.
