In almost every way a worse version of payday 2. while it looks nicer the characters faces are worse the voice acting is quieter and has much less emotion. the guns fire ok at best. the movement has a unnecessary slide and a mantle that is less intuitive than you want it to be. the leveling system is abysmal and only after major push back did they offer a pittance of xp thats not directly from challenges. the skill trees are bland and do not provide much to the overall experience and can change effectiveness depending on your load out. example: the faster reload which required you to have a way to generate 2 of the 3 buffs the game focuses around will then increases reload speed but the increase is wildly different between essential and hardly noticeable with the only way to know if to go into a heist. no server browser is painful, always online is a joke. they dont have perk decks and expect you to individually level up each gun to even be able to mod it which has unintuitive bars and hidden stats. The attrition based game play seeks to punish you for wanting to play longer. All in all the game is just not fun or worth the time it takes to play.
