This review targets people that would normally scroll passed games like this:

To be honest I hear "action RPG" and then I am like "hell yeah!" but then I see it's Western and go ): This is a great WARPG Diablo game for people that don't typically play these types of games but enjoy horde spectacle gameplay. You have lots of monsters on the screen with satisfying contact and well made particle effects. There is a nice constant stream of sidequest and boss rewards throughout the game, as with any good RPG, grinding is a choice. If you like action JRPGs but have never played Diablo or Torchlight, then you'll like this.

You NEED the DLC for the full fledged experience.

Edit: This game does have a lot of furries, some will ERP, fair warning. I hate it it too.

I grew up playing PC games like Gaia Online, Runecape, Maplestory, Neopets and BattleOn Games. What made these games good then and sometimes even now is the social enviroments they create online. If you like chatting with strangers in a chill game with a chill gameplay loop with that early to mid 2000s feeling of online community, this is for you.

If you didn't get to grow up in the early 2000s or even the late 90s in a time before internet becoming so streamlined and cutdown to a websites and apps then I highly recommend this post-mortum time capsule of that online culture we once had before tech companies ruined it all.

Just as addicting as it was when I was playing the Android version on my Samsung Galaxy S3 as a sophmore in highschool on the way to school at 6 in the morning. Missions are just as compact as they were then with the same chaos clicking infectinator style gameplay with bursts of 30 seconds to 2 minutes long. Good zombie game for the cheap and a must play if you've never played one of these games.

Early Access Review
Me eat shroom. Brown good. Blue bad—BIG BLEH! Drink water—BAD BLEH! Sleep tree. Belly angry all night.
Day two: Pick bush snack. Go water. Uh-oh! Big tooth Tyranno drink all water! Name him Punk Face. Run for puddle. Trike horn yell, ‘MOVE!’. Me find new water. Day three, new water. No find. Day four, fire stick? No fire. Day five, sneaky Trodoons come. Me maybe die. But spear sharp!

The precursor or grandaddy of clicker games without immediately turning into an "idler". The challenge in this is to click (spam L2 on Steam Deck) and avoid getting carpal tunnel. You're gonna raise an aquarium, the best damn aquarium you've ever raised, and then kill aliens, make money and flaunt your abilities once again on the next level. This is often 80% off, it's worth the purchase of a 2010's app store game. It has the energy of a 2000s flash browser game, and genuinely is the one of the greatest CASUAL GRANDMA'S GAMEs ever made.

One of the funniest and just genuinely well written JRPGs I have ever played. It's a fantastic roguelike that I played way back in middleschool when it came out on PSP. The dialogue makes me laugh, feel related to and inspired. This game will make you feel so many positive emotions all at the same time in so many ways it's hard to describe in just one blurb. The game play is dynamic and gives incentives for taking risks because dying has experience bonus and exponential leveling. It's just a great time.

Edit: Because obscure games like this can be intimidating or even hard to get into, I made a beginners guide to give you the best experience if you're new to NIS style games.

I was testing if I could review a game I didn't own and I figured out the trick. This game is being family shared with me, and when I finish it (for the second time in my 27 years on this planet) I will buy my own copy and replay it for the third time.

This pulled me in for the obvious Final Fantasy Tactics art style inspiration during early access. Despite the rough translation and pretty basic turn based grid gameplay... the roguelite elements have kept me coming back every now and then for a while when I'm craving a mix of deckbuilding with a lil FFTactics.

This game is cool. It has style. Gurren Laggan style. The voice acting is dope, the card art tells a fraction of the lores narrative and it's easy to digest and access. Highly recommend to anyone new to this genre of games.

Currently the most definitive way to play the Final Mix collection. I am comparing it to PS3 and PS4 so this would be my third time buying it. The games are that good.
