Crashes on the 7th level every single time I launch it. I tried EDF 5 a little over a year ago and had the same issue with the first level so I refunded it. I assumed that they had fixed the issue since I was actually able to play the game this time, but it now appears that it isn't the case. I love the EDF series, but I would really enjoy the ability to actually play the game.

Edit: Validating the files did work this time, but this shows that you have to be extra careful on how/when you close the game. One wrong step and you may corrupt the files :3. Once I fixed the files, I got to play past lvl 7, and this game is indeed yet another EDF formula game, which I personally love. Mindless shooting of bugs, what more is there to like?

Spawned with about 200 tables and 50 sets of tribalwear and everyone almost starved night one. Spent a whole day hunting down a rat so my hunter would barely avoid starvation. 10/10 would starve again.

Good. A good 30ish days worth of time has already been stolen from my life.

So, I'll make it short:

The community is nearly dead, and leveling is extremely difficult the smaller party that you are in. It is a huge grind in order to level up anything in your base, but it mainly requires you to fight some monsters.

The community, however, is not nonexistent. What is left of this game, which is meant to be social and uses Hay Day-like market systems, is still worth at least a try. There is a small community left alive, and they are all accepting and helpful. On my first day playing, I was invited into a party of four people, two of us being newcomers. Even though we set the looting type to "free grab" instead of random distribution, everyone communicated well, and got what they needed.

All in all, while the game may be dead, I had a pretty great first impression.

Game crashes in first minute of gameplay every time I launch it. It could be because I have a 2.2 GHz i7, but it is sad because all of my other specs go way above the requirements.

EDIT: Just checked a benchmark site and it seems my Intel i7-8750H @ 2.2 GHz is actually better than the minimum required for the game by quite a bit, so.... wtf. I am asking for a refund on this game, since it is unplayable.

New Edit: After about a year I tried again and bought it on sale because it does seem like a really good game, and this time it did, in fact, finally work. There were not any widely announced patches but they must have fixed the issue. It is a great assassin's creed game, gameplay feels different than what I am used to. The leveling and level requirement system seems to be pretty janky, I feel assassinations should be OHK no matter the level, as in earlier games. Other than that, I do like the layout and gameplay.

It is fun, but ScArY.

I am among the first of my group to play this game, and I've got to say, it is amazing. The desc is right; it is a lot like mafia, but with WWAAAYYY more classes. I haven't played the "werewolves" game so I wouldn't know about that. I'd give it a 9/10. There should be buffs to vampires and other classes that do one thing every other night.

This is one of the best games I have ever played. I hope that soon everyone will be enjoying the game as well as I did, though I have a few ideas that may help with the player population. I believe that Sexton may be able to further collaborate with Valve on how to add the host button (I am definitey not the first to say so), and he could also make the gold membership more enticing, like the possibility of a Mystery Box Key drop, and other perks. All in al though, it is a nice, solid game.

Every time I try to launch this game, it says the steam servers are too busy to handle my request [error code 53]. I would love to see this fixed so I can finally install and play this marvelous game!
