Early Access Review
It's not Pokemon. You do capture creatures in spheres and they fight for you but that's about where the similarity ends. They don't evolve afaik, they don't say their own names, etc.

If you enjoy cute creatures, building a "farm" and slight micromanagement you'll enjoy this game.

Right now you can def tell it's EA, the building is primitive, Pal pathing is pretty bad, and combat is a little standard, but I have high expectations and hopes; esp since they've sold so many copies :P

Update almost a year later: it's still worth giving a try.

Everything I said previously has only been updated slightly. The biggest upgrade for me has been in the Box and Task stations. You can set the Pals to do or not do something specifically and they stick to it without you having to continually throw them at the task or keep an eye on them. You can also sort by quite a few different things in the box and that's a big time saver (though could still use more of an upgrade).

They also tweaked what you get in the levels (such as adding ore diggers for your base), and added a new area with new Pals & stats.
