I initially bought the game for the MIDI mods, but before I realized it, my life was taken over by Webfishing.

Do note that some mods are required to address existing issues like the "missing name" bug, but other than that, it's a pleasant, relaxing game for just 5 dollars.

Early Access Review
2024.04.14, 5:59pm:
A 7-hour stream went by without a hitch strangely enough. Maybe it was something else, but I'm hoping it stays working like this.

2024.04.12, 11:28 pm (UTC+8):
It happened again after a 6-hour stream. Pressing the assigned shortcuts didn't let the camera transitions go through, and I see no response happening when I press the hotkey combo in the Interaction Node editor. Gonna have to test again later.

EDIT 2024.04.10, 7:21 pm (UTC + 8):
Thank you for the update! It's fixed the hotkey issue for me so far. Streamed 10-12 hours today without any problems, but I'll keep this review updated.

I like having my own room to navigate in and decorate, never mind some minor Z-fighting bugs, but it's the "ease of use" part that I have trouble with.

The only thing keeping me from using it more often is how the keyboard shortcuts (e.g. CTRL + Numpad1) to trigger events like camera transitions sometimes stop working completely after using the software for a long time for streaming. It's happened on several occasions, and I've had to manually click the Play button in the Interactions node graph just to get the transitions to work. It's that or restarting the software to make the shortcuts work again, and admittedly, it's a chore to keep doing this every session.

Maybe there's an issue tracker for this already, but I can't really recommend it if it's cumbersome to use.

As someone who loves puzzles, I can be certain this is one of the best puzzle games I've ever played, possible THE best. I love the mind-teasing nature of this game that toys with perception, and the life lessons that come with each little puzzle. It's especially gratifying and satisfying when I discover the solution after minutes or even hours of pondering.

I found this lovely game by accident while browsing through Steam, and since then I've lost several hours to it writing, revising and perfecting code. It's strangely addicting.

The fun lies in successfully automating the script. It's especially satisfying when I come back from a tedious day to see that my base has grown by itself.

It was rocky for me at first, since my programming was absolutely rusty: I needed to take several hours for one step of a tutorial just to analyze the practices and methodologies used (along with the documentation). I even needed to look back at my course notes to refresh my memory. However, afterwards it was smooth sail: the game's mechanics became natural to me and I decided to refine some scripts to get a good start in multiplayer.

I'm very happy I found this game, I have finally something productive AND fun to do.
