Gameplay is amazing, but I cannot in good faith recommend this game because of it's predatory business practices. They added monetization 2 months after release AFTER the sale went through. If it was just buyable cosmetics for real money it wouldnt be so bad. But this ♥♥♥♥ has all the scummy practices like ingame currency, and ingame battlepasses. The only thing missing is lootboxes. The battlepasses are low effort as well. Theres like one item I maybe would be interested in. One of the rewards is a litteral white sphere taken directly from UE5. all of 5 seconds to be made. So no I cannot recommend this game even tho the gameplay is addicting.

Amazing game. You will get hooked almost right away. It does come with a steep learning curve but don't be discouraged if your first few cities crash and burn, that is normal.

Horrible port. The HD version crashed constantly and has notably fps slowdowns whenever it transistion between fighting and roaming. You can enable Anniversay edition and this takes care of the problem, but it turn you don't get widescreen or subtitles on the CS's. Also the subtitles dictates the pace of the dialog meaning if you choose JP voices with english subs, the subs will go so fast that entire JP voice dialog is getting skipped because the JP voices are slower than the english. This is on the Beta of course, but I am forced to play on the Beta because the standard version risks crashing after every monster encounter. I would honestly get better a experience if I were to play it on an emulator.

It's fun but you can really feel the early access. I warp through floors and walls randomly. The NPC's doesn't seem to mind me cuffing them stealing all their ♥♥♥♥ uncuffing them and then asking them for spare change.

Just now I was trying to find someone to arrest, when I got a new Murder over the radio. Turns out the murdered was the guy I was trying to arrest, making me have to abandon the Arrest mission.

First. off. I will say I 100% this game. By that I mean I literally did everything this game has to offer. Every quest, every item, every enemy scan etc.

BUT! I will say this game is not worth the 60 Euro they want for it. It's rushed, with bad AI and barebones features, and I had a blast with it.

The Good:

You will have fun with it when you start out at first. It's unforgiving and will punish you with no remorse for the slightest mistake. The exploring part is what really shines, and juggling your weight limit to fit that one extra thing you really wanted makes it very addictive.

The in-between:

Combat is kind of meh. So are the quest who mainly consist of fetch quests or kill X of this creature (the latter going up to insane quota's). You get relics you can slap on your gear, but it's very limited on the variety. Until Endgame/Postgame it's mainly poison resistance or broken arm/leg resistance. Only after you beat pretty much everything do you get interesting stuff like HP up, crit up etc, to put on your gear.

The Bad.

The AI is hurrendus. Both the monster AI and the human AI. The human AI can't even navigate the maps and keeps repeating the same stuff every 2 seconds. The enemy AI has no concept of danger either. There is an area with a large laser that's part of a puzzle, where I without problem farmed birds flying into said laser trying to get to me. Some areas have invisible bumps stopping you in your tracks so you have to jump over them. Also I have died a few times to me trying to step over a dead enemy and the game decided the corpse and my avatar can't be in the same place resulting in me getting booted off the platform to my death. The animations are pretty bad too. bipedal enemies have no girth to their step and looks like they have wheels attached when they run around. Game was obviously rushed out the door for a fast buck which is a shame since the good stuff is really amazing.

All in all it's worth getting when it's on sale, but don't you dare pay full price for it.

Best Sonic game to come out in years. Seriously how does a 3 hour april's fools game have more soul than the main line of games.

All these negative review saying it's P2W. They are wrong. I have bought a total of 100 pearls just to support the devs (you need 200+ for anything meaningful). The whole you need buy extra lives to be in the game is very false. There are chests in the game that give you 10+ lives just like that. Multiple items that give you lives like a Golden hermit crab, and countless other things that can potentially give you extra.

Most of the earlygame crabs have strong abilities for both offense and defense (such as a stun ability to run away with or attack while they are stunned). So get in there and farm those extra lives ingame.

been a while since I played a good hack and slash rpg.

Best Fighter on the market. Been playing Tekken since I was 8 and I still learn new stuff.

Still the best game I have played in the last two years.
