Bought Crysis 2 when it first came out back in 2011 via a physical copy. Back then i had issues running the game but nowadays i can run it no problem on my new gaming rig. I lost my physical copy so i bought the maximum edition on steam.

Im a fan of scifi futuristic stuff with first person shooter elements and the Nanosuit was the coolest thing ive ever seen visually and it was represented well game mechanic wise in the Crysis games. Just the attention to realism detail Crytek put into the Crysis series when it comes to the futuristic science, the weapons, aliens etc is what got my attention and the story in 2 continues the story from where the first game left off. Despite Crysis 2 being Linear compared to Crysis one being non linear (with a more open world) i actually enjoyed the levels in Crysis 2 despite the drastic setting change from the Lingshan Islands to New York.

Despite the game being 7 years old today, it still looks and feels brand new due to CryEngine 3; its seriously way ahead of its time and is one of my favorite game engines next to the Unreal Engine. The Graphics, Animations, Sound Design and everything is top notch.

Highly recommend Crysis 2 especially since its on sale. Crysis 2 is worth the money playing through the singleplayer alone; its a long campaign and i really enjoyed it. The Multiplayer doesnt work anymore but i always felt the multiplayer was tacked on and wasnt that good.
