🖤 Motivation:
If tomorrow I have nothing left, I'll still have my voice. I don't laugh. At fourteen I was a street vendor, selling pens and other goods in Portuguese. Now I sell in Portuguese, in Spanish, and also in English. But it's possible to sell pens and make a living because I don't eat more than my toast so I don't gain weight. I don't wear more than three or four shirts that I like. God gave me health, God gave me reason, God gave me a conscience that guides me first, reason that guides me second, heart that guides me third. When my emotion starts to take over, my reason comes and says, "What is this? What nonsense is this?" And when my emotion comes from my reason, my conscience comes and says, "Look, I'll be with you until your last breath!" So my reason polices my emotion, and my conscience polices my reason and my emotion. I worry about today, only today.
