This is a hard-as-nails platformer... One of the statistics shown on the 'pause' screen counts the number of times you have died... which by completion, was something like 800+ times for me.

The superb hand-painted-style graphics, and perfect mood-setting music convey a uncomplicated but poignant story.

But the real strength in this game – is the gameplay.

For example, there are three 'boss fights' - for lack of a better word - which are basically rage-inducing-controller-throwing extended sequences under pressure, without safe save-game spots.

The only way to progress is to memorise the sequence of moves required to surpass the obstacles – sounds horrible right!?

But WOW! It is satisfying when you finally get it.

Pretty much sums up my opinion on the harder parts of the game
