Let me preface this by saying, we just won a major battle against the third threat to democracy. SONY. We made them bleed and made them regret an anti-consumer decision that would have made the game unplayable for brave Helldiver's across the world. They wanted to make us use PSN linked accounts, yet we stood our ground and beat back the threat to freedom.

Helldivers 2 is a pretty amazing game, one of the best co-op horde/objective shooters known to man. This game is up there with Deeprock and L4D2 for some of the best co-op fun I have ever had, and the ever evolving war we wage against the enemies of mankind keep things interesting and super fun. This may be the one live service game that actually works and achieves what it sets out to be, without being anti-consumer (asides from that whole... Sony, thing), with constant interesting content drops both free and optionally paid (You can earn the premium currency pretty steadily to unlock all the things in the game). Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played, and I am so glad to see that the Helldivers could overcome this new threat to democracy and beat back the corporate hounds that threaten Super Earth herself.
