Honestly a lot of fun, I've only played PVE so far but I've enjoyed just about every minute of this game, not too challenging, not too grindy, and the base building is extremely fun, almost my favorite part.

I will say though, the 6 week wipe, could get me to stop playing, I've only been playing for about a week so I haven't gotten too attached to anything, but I'll be reconsidering whether I should play this game every time it does its 6 week wipe, that just gives other games a chance to pull me away and forget this game.

I really hope they consider either making it a yearly wipe or at least 3-6 months per wipe, to have to restart nearly all over after just a little over one month . . . .

That all said, its currently worth sticking around to see if they'll make some positive changes, it'll be really interesting how many people stick around after the first wipe.

I'll try to update this review after the first wipe.

Fewer and fewer games can get me sink so much time into it, this one does, lots to do, not crazy hard or easy, can be played casually or ground into the ground, hours and hours of fun, with plenty of reason to keep playing, from the game play, to the music, graphics and so on, they hit this one out of the park, really hope the extend the map or come out with another, 130 hours in and I want more, get it you won't regret it!

Honestly the best zombie game I've played in a long time, VR or otherwise, there are many zombie games out there, and I've played just about every one of them, nothing beats mowing down a horde of zombies, this is my first VR zombie game, and I've had a blast playing it, it doesn't have as much content as many non VR zombie games, but most VR games currently, don't have a whole lot of content, the VR market is still fairly new, but what After The Fall does have is thrilling and keeps me coming back for more, a great foundation to expand upon if they so choose to,

The game aesthetics is fun, love the arcade feel, bringing the old with the new, I know there are going to be more maps for this game and I hope the devs keep making content for this game,

I will say though, if this wasn't a VR game, I would not say its worth the $40 price tag, if it wasn't VR, I'd value this game at a more reasonable price of $20 to $25, but VR brings a whole new value to the game, would love to see a avatar builder, or unlockable characters at the very least,

This isn't just some run and gun zombie game, with VR looting, opening drawers, breaking locks, or closing doors on the faces of zombies trying to chew you to bits, its both simple and interactive at the same time, modding your guns, aiming down the sights, it just brings a whole new level to the genre.

For the price its a great game, the first act was the best part of the whole game, the art style the game play, I enjoyed it very much the first act is worth the price, though I will say, the second and third act had me missing the first, just wasn't a fan of the themes/style, small spoiler, having to start a deck over, again and again was off putting to say the least, I nearly stopped playing the game each time, I still haven't finished the game, and I may not for this reason, never the less the first act was great, wish they gave it more time, that it lasted longer, I might of not liked the second and so on acts but I can see others enjoying it, people more into card games, I'm normally not into them so, the hard change of pace with building a new deck each act, may not be as off putting for others, great game, at the very least get it on sale like I did.

The game suffers from overly complicated and advanced features that create very, and I mean very rough edges, design choices that are great in thought, but difficult to produce in a game, and so there are a lot of things you have to learn to work around, snapping objects in the ship designer often is off, creates misalignments, floating objects or otherwise, there are work arounds but requires twice as much effort, then it would if the snapping tool was properly aligned, or snapping points were not off, the asset browser pieces for beams and planes are also very limited, there are pieces that only work with themselves or requires you to piece together a mess of a puzzle just to get a flat surface, often its just not possible, pieces that if just a little shorter or just a little longer it would fit perfectly, so to put it short the ship designer is a nightmare for perfectionists, if you are such, likely you'll spend your first month of gaming just trying to work around the rough edges of the ship designer, the game is early access and there are plenty of bugs and friends have crashed more then once or twice, bugs that teleport your ship and rolls back your ship to earlier saves, ships that work perfectly fine one day and the next just simply stop working, ships that fly straight one day, begin to drift one or more direction another day, the game has its flaws, its bugs, and non logical design choices, PvP needs a lot of work, the ship designer needs more,

That all said, this game has great potential, great ideas, big ideas, so rough edges can be forgiven, and I would recommend this game for those that like to play games hours on end, not for the casual gamer, unless you have friends that are otherwise willing to give you what you need, then you'll have a blast, all and all its a great game, I look forward to what they add next.

Pretty fun game, a race to get geared up in time for the final boss, learn what class, skills and gear you need, four bioms, with reasonable amount of enemy types, challenging, mini bosses, I really like the night defend part, caves, traders, level up your base npcs, lots to figure out, lots to unlock, the game has a real good foundation to kick off from, I really hope they come out with more bioms, bosses and gear, to be honest its not a whole lot of content, but you'll be grinding for a while to get that last boss, nearly 30 hours in and I haven't, though I'm close!

The cons, well it can get pretty repetitive, and one bs, this or that just happen to happen and boom your run is screwed, so time to start over, I did run into some bugs here and there, animation bugs, or once fell through the ground, but nothing game breaking, ruin a run or two maybe.

Be prepare to loose a lot, and enjoy it!

To dev note: Please add a map ping feature so we can point something out to allies, and add chat history! I miss 70% of what someone says because I didn't look at that area of my screen in time, or just completely miss it, also current cursor blends into the world too easily, I loose sight of it almost non stop, causing my character to swing at nothing often.

I can really see a lot of people including myself learning to fly a fpv drone on this sim, its going to be a really useful tool for many, including myself, though I can already tell it could use a little tuning, the starting maps, at least, starting at the learning to turn maps, they could really use map progression points, by that I mean, starting the new pilot on a map with flags much further away then the current flags or gates are at, then as the new pilot feels they can handle the basic turning, have them move onto a map with closer and closer flags until they can make just about any turn, as it stands, I feel the learning to turn map is a little too progressive, the gates are too close for a beginner, also a map maker would fix this issue too,

The other thing about the beginner map, is the map itself, the ground anyways, the flat repeated lines makes it hard to focus on how close you are to the ground, with no relateable object on the ground to give a sense of scale, my eyes tend to focus on the horizon to keep leveled then seeing how close I am to the ground, some grass, leaves, sticks, a river, keep it flat but make it easier to see how close you are to the ground, the squares make it harder,

This is a early review though, so expect a update once I log 10 plus hours.

Amazing, a game that balances it self on just the right realism and knowing its a game, progression is nicely paced, its a nice calm game, fun little town builder, doesn't have a huge amount of content but its definitely enough to keep you busy for weeks if not months at a casual pace, what it has it does well, the only think I could nit pick, is feathers, wish there was a better way of collecting them but I'm sure that'll be something added in the future, its clear the creator plans to keep working on the game, honestly I think this game could get as big as Ark or similar large games, I like it because it doesn't try to be something its not, no magic, tek or otherwise, it makes its theme fun, has fun ways of making the theme interesting, one of the best casual games I've come across in the past 5 years, worth every penny.

Hell yeah I recommend Phasmophobia, it is a perfect example executing a simple idea, with a small dev team perfectly, they manage to make a fun thrilling spooky game with so little content, 6 or so maps, basic map making, and a dozen or so game mechanics, with above average sound design, and I mean all that in a good way, the game is just executed so nicely,

Its downfalls are primarily in the small dev team, so here's hoping with a growing dev team, well hopefully growing, content grows in leaps and bounds, more maps, more items to buy, a more detailed and expanding leveling system, right now the end game is, well, there isn't one, once you understand the ghost mechanics, avoiding the ghost becomes nearly effortless, though the game can still throw you curve balls every now and again, though mostly when the map glitches due to someone disconnecting at the start or middle of the game, for some reason the ghost room expands and covers many rooms and items stop working so it can break the game at that point,

That said, its still a small dev team, but the game's popularity is huge right now, sales have to be through the roof, making more then enough for a large dev team, depending on the owners of the game, if they want to make something big of the game, they totally could manage a full fledged out game, which they are active, making new maps, so hopefully we see more content, hopefully not just in maps but in a leveling system, currently the only thing you get from leveling is higher difficulty levels, which isn't really a incentive to replay the small number of maps over and over, that in it self will likely bore people into not caring about a harder difficulty, so the leveling mechanic is where the dev team focuses their effort next,

One idea would be a crafting system, basic stuff at first, but later game maybe only on this or that map, you get items from not just the map, but ghosts too, like ghost dust, ash, maybe you not just have to find the bone, but set it on fire, burn it, maybe you have to pick up the bone and take it to a old furnace, there is a lot you can do with burning, burn bones, burn possessed items, maybe expand the salt mechanic, salt lines, circles, trapping the ghost in something and reading something out loud, having to place so and so items in so and so order in order to trigger, trap or what have you the ghost, there is so much ghost lore out there, dozens and dozens of possible game mechanics that can be implemented, its only now up to the dev team
