If you're new to the game, I suggest getting a starter pack as it provides premium vehicles + premium account for 7 days.

The real grind starts at rank 3. I find it hard winning as 70% of the time, I'm facing with rank 4 vehicles.

Tbf, it's kinda fun, IF you have money to spend.
