A game with unexpected depth to the systems involved within it, this survival RPG does a fantastic job at reminding you how one slip up can cost you everything. Starting from week one of the outbreak you can watch as society falls apart, electricity and water stop running, food supplies become low as you have to loot further away, hordes become more developed. All of this pressure helps build a lot of tension of the player.
Especially when other mechanics such as panic states, food/water/sleep requirements, entertainment, temperature, wetness, illnesses, infections and more I have likely forgotten. These all help pile on the pressure that keep this game from becoming too much of a tedium.

This is coupled with a MASSIVE map to explore and ability to become turned from a single bite, it is a game I certainly could sink my teeth into. Especially with such a criminally low price of £10.00 for this early access period.
