I purchased Crusader Kings III sometime last year, at the urging of a friend, and I can say it was a great decision. At first, the game was super confusing, as my friend wanted to start a game immediately. I was thrust straight into the commotion of Medieval Europe, but honestly, I think that's the best way to learn this game. I spent countless hours in several single player figuring out the flow of the game (I also did the tutorial, but I honestly think figuring out stuff on my own was easier and way more fun.).

I know the real-time grand strategy games aren't for everyone, but that's not the charm of Crusader Kings. The fun is in making stories with your friends; changing the course of history, making mistakes, and just goofing off with your friends.
