Alright, so I hate leaving bad reviews on games, but I honestly just didn't enjoy this game especially compared to the other Resident Evil games I've played.

The story isn't bad, it isn't really amazing either but it's serviceable. The real problem I had was the actual game play itself, there are only two modes of movement...run...and run faster with parkour slides and vaults. It just didn't feel like a Resident Evil game to me.

My overall play time totaled up to about 31 hours, and that is for all 4 campaigns. So, the way the game is broken up is into 4 different campaigns for 4 different characters (really it's 8 because in each campaign you can choose to play as the title character or their companion). The story lines, while different, all converge with each other at certain points. I actually thought that was kind of cool, seeing scenarios from the different vantage points.

Combat is very run and gun, as much as you can do that in third person but with limited ammo as per the RE mantra. However, the enemies in this game are some of the most frustrating nonsense. You know in RE4 where the enemies would sometimes morph into the bug heads and how that got frustrating with your limited ammo reserves...well it's that turned up to 11. Almost every enemy after a certain point in the story morphs into something else when you kill it...sometimes more than once. It becomes VERY tedious after you go through it a few times, and that is for all 4 campaigns.

Honestly, play the game if you really want to play through the story and you can get it cheap. Otherwise, just watch a play through. Speaking of which, I have one if you want to watch it to get a sense of the game. Check out the link below and drop a sub (it's free) if you don't mind, it would be really cool of you.
