Thank you for Crusader though, I refused to buy this game until he was back in.

This is definitely the greediest Mortal Kombat game ever made and it features the absolute worst single player content of all time. Ed Boon that store and that invasions mode are just two giant slaps in the face to every gamer that ever held you in high esteem.

One of the best casual experiences I've ever had in a competitive game.
Sometimes I will literally queue up, take a dump, shower, and then sit back down just in time to shoot the guy with the briefcase and extract.
You get XP from stealing intel, unlocking safes, picking up upgrade chips and keycards, extracting with the briefcase (winning), or by just plain murdering other spies. The XP goes into 3 different progress bars that all give their own rewards, so loot is quite common. Winning the game is not necessary at all, so do not be discouraged if you are new. Eventually you will find your own way to play.

Atrocious design for such a good, standard concept. It's a robot that borrows flesh from humans. How do you make such an ugly piece of crap like this? Its two misshapen legs make no sense for any practical setting, all the flesh bits and decoration are there to hide how stupid looking the robot would have been before it became a horror monster. Honestly, devs, what the hell is going on behind the scenes? How do you keep pumping out the ugliest, uninspired monster designs? Are the designers just afraid to say no to absolutely stupid ideas? Are you afraid to make a monster that looks too similar to monsters that exist already? Does EVERY special snowflake creation need to get their own spotlight before your crew can be happy making monsters and killers that are actually menacing, terrifying, and pleasing to fans?

Amazing wizard spell variety, amazing siege warfare. I recommend adding a glass cannon sneaky class that can scale walls and backstab filthy mages, the game just needs boat loads of optimization and it'll become a true multiplayer treasure.

It's for M&B players who always wanted to play as the Bandits.

I have played an Occultist that spread bloody pox to zombies that infected other zombies until they all bled out and exploded.

I have played a Demolitionist rifleman whose only ability was a grenade that obliterated mutants into little giblets.

I have played a dual pistol wielding Inquisitor, a Death Knight with his own legion of skeletons and abominations, a Blademaster carving up gangsters as fast as The Flash, a Paladin with a hammer and a bubble shield, and a Witch Hunter seeping with acid.

My girlfriend played a Pyromancer who maxed out molotov cocktails for massive fires and had three hellhounds that assisted her in combat.

I adore this game for how many diverse ways there are to play.

Phenomenal. I thought this was going to be some Happy Tree Friends violent parody game. Instead I got grounded writing, likable relationships, a neat mystery, Ape Escape, Pokemon Snap, and casual body horror customization.
