I can't say how it played back when it first came out or whatever, but after playing this game for the first time in late 2025, this game is so misunderstood and the hate isn't deserved at all. I guess the best way to put it is: It's a bad Resident Evil game (I guess?), but a good game in general.

I only played Leon and Chris' campaigns, so I can't speak on Ada's or Jake's campaigns, but they are both amazing in their own ways. Leon's campaign has amazing gameplay with a slightly weaker story while Chris' campaign is heavily story focused and is absolutely peak.

I would definitely recommend it if you're a Resident Evil fan, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to platinum it though :)

I see this game getting hated on and trashed a lot but this game criminally underrated.

A common complaint about RE0 is that it has no item boxes and you're forced to drop items instead. I didn't think it was much of a problem at all, not only is there not really much you have to drop in the first place if you're good with inventory management, but you can drop items anywhere you want instead of having to go across to map to an item box. Obviously the choice of having an item box would've been nice but it really isn't an issue.

The gameplay is a lot more unique and interesting compared to RE1 since there's around 6 different areas of the game you progress through, whereas in RE1 you're in the mansion for pretty much the entire game.

The playable characters (specifically Billy) were pretty meh and not that interesting, Rebecca was cool though. The other main characters like Wesker and William Birkin were really good and played a role in carrying this games story. Story is the only thing RE1 does better (imo).

The graphics are pretty trash and the controls are pretty outdated, but you're playing a "remaster" of a 2002 release game so you can't really expect anything too crazy. Besides, after playing with the controls a bit you really get used to the fixed camera angles which adds a scare factor to the game, and it became pretty enjoyable after a while.

Wesker Mode is an amazing mode which is really fun and completely changes how Billy (or Wesker) is played, instead of just using guns Wesker can charge his power which instantly kills zombies with his eyes, or his other power which allows him to dash across the playable area.

Best Resident Evil game to date. Need I say more? You'd be silly to pass on this masterpiece of a game.

Dying Light: The PEAK
"TL;DR": Dying Light: The Beast is, to me, a TRUE sequel to Dying Light 1. The story was amazing and had some awesome twists I didn't expect (no spoilers!). And, it features the amazing return of the sexy hunk of a man Kyle Crane, what ISN'T to love about that? One of the most special things about the game to me is the breath taking environments of Castor Woods and the other POI's scattered across the map. Everything is so colorful and attractive while still maintaining that gritty feeling of Dying Light 1. Lighting makes the environment shine so much better, with sunsets that look almost identical to Harran's and a night time that truly feels like a night (unlike DL2, where you could see everything with ease). Without a flashlight you literally won't be able to see a thing, and volatiles are everywhere meaning you have to move very carefully. Another thing that I loved so much about the game is the soundtrack. In this game it was nothing short of incredible, a call back to Dying Light 1's soundtrack that was just a great pleasure to listen to. None of the tracks overstayed their welcome and it was always nice to hear them. Techland did an astronomical job and there wasn't a single moment where I wasn't having fun and enjoying DL:TB; 10/10 .

Story
(Won't include Spoilers) Set in Europe, Castor Woods is a tourist attraction turned nightmare filled with some dark evil secrets and controlled by an evil protagonist known as the Baron. For 13 years he ran experiments on Kyle Crane after the events of The Following, and with DL:TB, Crane finally escapes the torture he has endured and is free into the world of Castor Woods; with one mission: Kill the Baron.

I went into this game with an open mind and ignored the complaints about the story, after feeling that Dying Light 2 was a bit disappointing compared to the first entry. Thankfully, the reviewers were just morons and my expectations were completely blown out of the water - I loved this story SO much. Seeing Kyle evolve over time in the Story was awesome and seeing him work towards his goals was incredible to watch & learn more about him & the characters around him. This game also had multiple twists that I didn't expect AT ALL, which I won't say (you'll have to find out for yourself!)

Environment & Atmosphere
Probably the most beautiful part of this game, is the beautiful location of Castor Woods, a tourist attraction set in Europe. Everything is overgrown and all areas of the map are filled with Zombies. This location feels incredibly similar to Dying Light 1 and really feels like it, with some locations looking like parts of "The Following" and others looking like Harran itself (which the lighting really helps with in my opinion).

Soundtrack & Audio
The soundtrack in DL:TB is a masterpiece, to say the least. Every track fits the game's identity and aesthetic so well and is a call back to Dying Light 1's amazing quality soundtrack. None of the soundtracks feel out of place or overstay their welcome, and that classic "Dying Light" part of each track is simply perfect.

Parkour
This is easily the best Parkour in the Dying Light series. Techland took all (or most) of the parkour upgrades from DL2 and made them a basekit of Kyle's parkour loadout. While adding Dying Light 1 parkour features into the skill trees but improved and refined. Everything has been refined and improved upon in ways like removing that "floatiness" feeling that plagued Dying Light 2 and all actions you do feel fluid, and only get more fluid as the game goes on when you upgrade your Parkour.

Gameplay & Levelling Systems
The gameplay in Dying Light: The Beast is nothing short of perfection. The combat really does feel like it has weight to it it feels great to use both the melee weapons and the guns. They have a perfect balance so that weapons are not the go-to choice and vice versa. The gore is next level and is the most hardcore in the series so far, you can dismember zombies, expose their rib cage, snap arms off, smash their head in, & all with fountains of blood.

The levelling system is something I thought was much better over Dying Light 1 & 2. While there is essentially "less" upgrades to buy (since a lot of them are basekit), they are harder to work towards because of the XP cap per level being higher than usual and requiring the completion of most (if not all) side quests) to reach the max level. The beast upgrade path is very well thought through and upgrades alongside you progressing the main story, with you finally unlocking the final stage of the Beast just before the end of the game.

Final Thoughts & Rating
This game was truly a masterpiece in my eyes and the best Dying Light to date. So happy Techland pulled through and blew everyones expectations out of the water. One thing I hope we see in the future is the addition of NG+, Legend Levels, and a few bug patches to iron out the issues with the game at the moment (specifically the time of day not changing). Hope to see DLC, new gameplay features or a new game with Kyle as the main character again!

I have never been more satfisfied with a Dying Light game and I have never been more excited to see the future and what unfolds. Please never get rid of Kyle Crane again!
Thank you Techland for creating this masterpiece, you have proved everyone wrong and shown everyone you are still the GOATs.

Goodnight, and good luck.

TL;DR: Dying Light 2 isn't a "bad" game by any means, but it definitely isn't the best, and it isn't good as a 2nd game into the series of Dying Light. However after all of that being said, I still believe it receives more hate than it should. Over the years Techland have improved Dying Light 2's mechanics, lighting, gameplay etc. But unfortunately I still don't think it's the best it could've been. While it isn't better than Dying Light 1 or to be honest even come close to it, it still is a good game with fun combat, great parkour and a story that in my opinion really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

I had a lot of flaws with Dying Light 2 which are things that will most likely never be changed, for example the lighting and art style of the game. Coming from Dying Light 1, playing Dying Light 2 makes you notice how much of the survival horror aspect and art style of DL2 has been removed. Night time is not a threat at all and doesn't really feel like night time at all. You can see where you're going & volatiles aren't much of a threat like they were in the first game. While in morning and and any other time of day, it's too colorful and lost that "gritty" feeling that DL1 had. It just looks like a "happy place" and almost looks like there isn't much of a threat in the atmosphere. Another flaw I had was how bad the movement was and how clunky it felt. It genuinely feels 100x worse compared to Dying Light 1. While yes, the movement and parkour is very fun in DL2, it doesn't feel good at all and has some janky elements to. Jumping in DL2 is very floaty and you go "flying" almost. Or for example when you're swinging off of something your character has a high change to play the animation in slow motion which just breaks all momentum. They went for a "realistic" approach with movement and not only didn't achieve that but made the game feel horrible during the process of it.

Another flaw I had with DL2 and heavily disliked was how badly they murdered the grappling hook. It is so awful in this game, it's really disappointing how useless it is compared to the first game. In Dying Light 1, using the grappling hook would pull you to the end of wherever the grappling hook was pulled to and would go in any direction. In this game, it's only use is really just swinging from things, and it doesn't pull you in any direction.

While the story to me was still interesting at parts, there were some elements of it that really sucked. The first problem was that it really takes a while to get going. The story only starts to get interesting after you complete the VNC tower mission, which is about 3-5 hours into the game, before that the story is really just a slog. The prologue is fine since it introduces you to different elements of the game, but after that, the first part of the game is pretty much just boring filler with some pretty boring missions. With with being said, it used to be a LOT worse. But Techland changed some of the missions and beginning sections of the game to make it more tolerable. My second thing I disliked about the story was how they handled the main character. I liked Aiden Caldwell as a character a lot, but he really just came across as a clone of Kyle Crane (main character from the first game). He had very similar voice lines, talked the same way as Kyle, pretty much everything, only he was a weaker and less interesting version of him. I think part of the reason I liked Aiden so much was actually because he was so similar to Kyle.

With all of that being said, I've still played the story a total of ~8 times and I still enjoyed the game playing it for the 9th.

**Do not buy this game in it's current State**

I have literally never seen a game run this terrible before, and there's a LOT of Unreal Engine 5 games that run like complete ♥♥♥♥. Somehow, MGS3 takes "terrible performance" to a whole new level nobody else in the industry has managed to accomplish yet. Not a single second was spent optimizing the game or making sure it runs at a stable framerate as low as 60. I played for 4 hours and 90% of the time I wasn't even hitting 60fps and was mostly fluctuating between 35-50fps. I have an i9-14900k and a 4080 Super, I would expect this game to do the bare minimum, but nope - it can't even do that.

This is every Unreal Engine 5 title now, it's my fault for thinking it would be any different with this game. Such an unplayable experience I attempted to refund the game and got lucky with it being accepted.

Black Ops 6 is probably the best Call of Duty since Black Ops 4 (specifically talking about Zombies, not interested in Campaign/MP). As a complete product after 5-6 seasons it is incredibly packed with content and has some of the funnest Zombies gameplay in recent memory. However there is a LOT of flaws with the game and decisions from higher-up corporate bums at Activision that ultimately ruined the game in some areas.

Pros

Zombies is incredibly fun with a type of replayable gameplay we haven't seen in 7-8 years, with increased zombie spawns from 24, really fun streaks like Mutant Injection, and a great variety of perks that haven't been seen in a while like Double Tap and Vulture's Aid.

While the maps lack that "Zombie" feeling, they are still very fun to play on and most are quite replayable and fun to high round on. (Apart from The Tomb, ♥♥♥♥ you)

The soundtrack and audio is one of the biggest compliments of the game. Whoever worked on the audio and soundtracks for this game deserves a raise. The ambience sounds are amazing, the boss fight music is top tier, and the music easter egg's from Kevin Sherwood, Maluka & Elena Siegman (queen) are simply all masterpieces.

The easter eggs are incredibly fun, not on the level of BO3/BO4, but still a massive step up from CW and they're going a step in the right direction. All of the maps apart from one have very fun easter eggs and the steps aren't anything too stupid like Revelations' rock step. The hunts usually only take 4 hours apart from Reckoning which took 8-9 hours which is ideally the perfect length.

Cons

Collabs in BO6 are genuinely the biggest flaw the game has and completely ruined it's identity, and made it a complete joke on social media. Activision/Treyarch don't care at all if the collab is fitting to the game or if it's a bad idea, all they see is money and throw it in the game. Why in a 90's era game do we have Squid Game, TMNT, American Dad, Beavis and Butthead and other bullsh*t collabs that make no sense running around and being advertised in people's faces encouraging you to buy? The worst part is the majority of the COD community actually loves burning their money and eats it up. This is the most severe and worst the collabs have ever been in a COD title. I hope it never gets this bad again and I hope they never transfer to another title.

The storytelling in BO6 Zombies has honestly been garbage, no sense of direction or goal in the story, all they've done for the majority of the game is nostalgia baiting people with Chaos and keyjingling aspects of it in peoples faces and releasing bundles. They will most likely never be mentioned again in future Black Ops Zombies titles.

The zombie maps are pretty "bland" per say, while they're no longer facility simulators like in CW, and a lot more bigger & fun to play, they still lack that "Zombies" feeling that's been missing since Black Ops 4, and literally every map apart from the launch map is set in the day time, with almost identical skyboxes. It also doesn't help the story takes place over a 10 day period, with 3 of the maps being set in the exact area/location. Really hoping this is something that changes a lot in BO7.

It has bad gameplay mechanics in Zombies that are ripped straight from W*rzone like armor plating (remove this ♥♥♥♥ please), tac sprinting (seriously who the ♥♥♥♥ likes this? doesn't belong in a Black Ops game (or even any COD game) at all)) or complete baby proof options that aren't toggleable like how to unlock or reach Pack-A-Punch.

The HUD is completely broken and has been since launch. With the release of BO6, a custom HUD was introduced where you can adjust it to your own liking, disable certain elements and move things around. This in itself is good, but it doesn't even work. **EVERY** single time you launch the game again it resets itself to a random preset and you have to change it every single time you go into the match. It doesn't save no matter what options you disable or change.

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Seríes is one of my favorite series & stories of all time. This series broke me indefinitely and changed me. This is genuinely a one of a kind storytelling, nothing short of a total masterpiece. 10/10 from every season.

Telltale's TWD is one of the best franchises/series in gaming, with some of the best storytelling you can find. Although the gameplay isn't that "good or interesting", that isn't the point of these games, since it's heavily story oriented. Every single season (not including Michonne and 400 Days) is an absolute 10/10 masterpiece. I was attached to all of the characters in no time with the incredible amount of depth, emotion and engagement put into the characters, making you that you really begin to care about them.

The soundtrack & audio is another part of the series which is just beautiful, Jared Emerson-Johnson was the perfect choice and he absolutely nailed it in every way.

This entire series will break you and ruin you emotionally, when I played for the first time, every single ending of a Season ended in tears. From the first day of the outbreak and Clementine being looked after by Lee and watching her story unfold to the final moment is a memory & story I truly will never forget. I replay this game once every few months to remind myself just how amazing this series is and just how much I love it.

Season 1 - 4 are all 10/10. There were a few tiny nitpicks I had with story decisions but it doesn't take away from my final decision on the ratings of the games, they are all amazing in their own ways and I loved the characters in each season.

"400 Days" is (imo) a terrible and boring DLC addition to Season 1 that really doesn't bring much interest or value other than the characters being on-screen for 5-10 seconds at a certain part of Season 2. I'd give it a 2/10 or 3/10. "The Walking Dead: Michonne" is good on a first playthrough, however beyond a first playthrough it's really not that enjoyable or replayable. Nothing amazing like the mainline series but it's okay. 7/10 for first playthroughs.

JUSTICE FOR JAVI GARCÍA, CONTINUE HIS STORY! ❤

Masterpiece - Game of the Year 2025

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is nothing short of an absolute masterpiece and is one of the my personal favorite & most enjoyable and fun experiences of all time. With KCD1 being my first RPG experience ever, I had no idea what I was getting into or what to expect when playing it, & to say the least I was blown away. And with KCDII, it manages to do that, even more, AND do it better in every single way from the previous installment. The passion, love & time poured into this game is everything to me.

The endless amount of possibilities in the game and the amount of content there is, is simply amazing. My first playthrough was 70 hours long and that was with me missing (I think) a LOT of side content. It doesn't have "filler" missions or missions that drag too long (which I personally thought KCD1 suffered a lot from). You choose the entire path you take and the person you become. You can do any playstyle you prefer, since almost any type of action or way you play has a levelling system to it that can improve and make the way you play more efficient, & you can romance any of the optional characters you want. (Hansry on top!)

The story alone is a masterpiece and kept me hooked from the very beginning to the very end. Not only is the story in KCDII way more chaotic and exciting compared to it's predecessor, the amount of emotional moments there is in this game is crazy. Happy, excited, sadness, ecstatic, anger, frustation, you name it, I probably felt it (there may have been some tears at points of the game). I loved every single main mission and was deeply immersed iun the story/game the entire time.

Warhorse also deserve massive props and respect for how well they implemented the arguably best ship/romance of all time. It's a beautiful slow burning romance that doesn't rush or make it seem "forced", in fact it's so normal it feels like the canon choice. You start being given the option to be able to romance the other main character in the story from pretty early on, and you watch their love grow for each other more and more throughout the story, with it leading towards a beautiful scene. There is so much depth and meaning to it and how strong their love is for each other to risk everything, considering the time period they're in. Make it canon and let Henry and Hans ride off into the sunset together in KCD3!

I'll be waiting patiently for Kingdom Come Deliverance III ❤️
