Bought the game because I enjoy Squad so much. The teamwork, the tactics. Unfortunately that seems to be missing from Post Scriptum. Your squad leader has no use in Post Scriptum, he doesn't provide a vital function to the squad, which in turn ends up meaning that much of the time it devolves into everyone doing their own thing, they only join a squad so they can get kits and then go lone wolf. Communication and coordination seem to lack significantly, even on the squad level as many times no one even talks to each other because they can all go off and lone wolf.

The generally flat terrain, coupled with the lack of communications frequently means that the tactics devolve into long chains of men running towards an objective head on. They spawn on mobile spawn points, run to the battle, die and repeat. The graphics hinder your ability to pick out and identifiy enemies only exasterbating the problem, as well as the tiny and difficult to see iron sights of particularly the kar98 making it difficult to use some of the weapons.

I am not a new gamer, and have played countless WW2 titles in my time, but this game just doesn't engage me. I enjoy WW2 games on both ends of the spectrum from unrealistic goofy titles to more realistic hardcore titles, it seems like Post Scriptum was shooting for something in the middle and for me personally it missed the mark.
